My recent rental experience with Europcar was marred by issues with the invoice, which has influenced my overall satisfaction. While the vehicle and customer service during pickup and return were satisfactory, encountering problems with the invoice created an inconvenience. Communication regarding billing could be improved to prevent confusion and ensure a more transparent process. Despite this setback, the quality of the vehicle and service was generally good. I hope Europcar addresses these billing issues to enhance the overall customer experience in the future.

This is the branch address mentioned in the vehicle collection / return e-mail however please note that this IS NOT the location you need to return the vehicle to but the one further north of the airport, complete amateurs who should be out of business given how they treat their customers.

Had a car booked at 16:00. Arrived at the free shuttle bus bay from airport at 16:05 just to find out no bus was running, try to call but no answer. They've all left at 16:00. No message, no call from them. I was left in the snow, couldn't go home (Wales). It resulted in a lucky £600+lunch and dinner at hotel for 10days as I couldn't drive home to quarantine. And this was at the end of January. Never again

I've been left with a car that I can't drive for nearly a week. Picked up car that was left for me at car repair work shop. Car has damage on the front passenger wing it was absolutely filthy inside and out I had to pay to get it cleaned. Whoever has the car before me had a dog in it it stunk of dog and was covered in dog hairs. I am highly allergic to dogs hair but I had no choice but to drive it home I coughed my eyes were streaming and my throat was red raw . I can't drive the car due to this my insurance company called them and asked them to change the car. I was told it would be changed today and that I'd get a call at 10 am. I never had any phone call and the car I can't drive is still parked outside my house. The car also didn't have a full tank of petrol I had to fill it up but it's something they demand when you return it. I am absolutely disgusted with this company and it's slack attitude.

Last summer we rented a Volvo S90 car in England and we burst two tires in Scotland for a bump in the road, something very common in that place.The problem arose when two tires exploded and the Lords of Scotland did not have a substitution car - the insurance was fully paid for - they did not have the tires for the car.My family and I had to find our lives and solve the problem by putting a spare wheel in Fort William, (Scotland) and his company told us that we had to travel more than 766 km, (not counting the km that we were going to do before get to the airport), with a spare wheel to Luton airport (London).Something inadmissible from the point of view of safety of people and the vehicle, for which I had to replace the tire on my own, since Europcar did not know how to give me an answer.Well after sending all the invoice documentation - more than 10 emails - to Europcar.I have not had any answer.The situation we had in Scotland over 3 hours on a road and with a handicapped person - all this was reported to Europcar - and we only had problems such as there was no crane, there was no replacement car, the taxi only fit 4 people , that a person had to stay in the car until they arrived, but they did not know the time when they could send us help.NEVER AGAIN with these gentlemen.

I do rent from here quite often for holidays etc. On my last rental the tyre had a puncture. I later found that this had already been noted on the previous damage document. So they sent 2 adults and a small child out with a car with a deflating tyre. When we were on holiday we had to wait in a kwikfit for nearly 2 hours whilst europcar head office decided whether they wanted to ok the tyre change. We were meant to be on holiday, not spending our time in a kwikfit. I was very disappointed. I will be checking the previous damage to make sure there are no serious faults like this with the cars in future. Wherever I rent from.

The guys at this branch were great (surprisingly), the customer service on the phone is the worst experience ever.I cannot believe that I wanted to find Enterprise on Google because I had the best experience with them and accidentally I hired a car from Europcar instead. Never again. Lesson learned

I had a really poor experience with this rental company. Customer service is non existent, delivery drivers don't seem to have any knowledge of specified customer requirements. Impossible to get hold of anyone at the local depot, (I waited over the phone at least 40 minutes three time during the course of the day but no luck). When called the head office and asked for a complaint procedure, was not given any clear procedure. Looked at most of the negative reviews written for this organisation and seems like they are 100% true. Wouldn't even give them a single star if the system allows me.

They have been great! I have used them 3 seperate times now over the last 2 months during the week and on weekends with 3 different cars. The quality of service and professionalism is outstanding. Most of all it's the laid back and easy approach to booking in with them and dealing with any issues. I will continue to keep coming back here again and again. The guys are great
