Clear And polite . The nasty battleaxes that worked there before have gone

Luton Halifax branch in the Mall. I'd reported in person on Tuesday 6th June 23 that my card had malfunctioned and wasn't responding at cash points or in retail contactless or pin payment methods. I was told id receive a replacement in 5 working daysAs I needed cash on the Thursday 8 June but hadn't yet received a card, I walked into the bank to withdraw at the counter. Asking for 150 £s I was told I could only withdraw 100 pounds. I asked what if I need more should I come back to the branch if I've not got the card? the woman told me that the maximum I'll be given at any time is 100 £s even though I had produced my identification.Halifax can surely do so much better even a cash point lets me take more than that at any given time why make me feel like a kid being regulated over my money. This is my call to exit Halifax bank as this has deprived me of accessing my hard earned cash at point of need.Even the one star is not worth giving

Customer service has gone from good to terrible. One of the staff had issue with me taking my own money out and she was muttering under her breath.

Lovely new interior same old incompetent staff! Waiting time for a small adjustment to my account! Ridiculous and incorrect adjustment! Staff training seriously required! Spent over 20 years in banking customer service and my experience fell well short!

Not even worthy of one star.Very poor customer service say they will phone you then no phone call after seeing the manager who assured us we would get a call.Have had to make multiple phone calls spoke to call centres all over the country.Nearly six weeks still waiting to get our money after they gave us a ineligible cheque which another bank rejected.

Got complete idiots working here! Unprofessional and long wait times!Had to repeat and spell out my name 4 times and they still did not get it. Offered to write it down and they said no and then said I was being rude because I asked to speak to someone else..... Don't hire kids to work in a bank, simple. And if you do then hire people that can do the job. Will 100% be changing banks.

I and my partner went in today to request for bank statements, the woman I met on the front desk rudely told me she can’t give me unless I want normal online print. I feel disappointed.

They don't stick to the opening times announced. Many times I go and find them closed and they put a paper on the door saying sorry for the inconvenience.This is really terrible.
