Nevie-Pie Cakes

Natasha makes beautiful cakes which taste lovely, particularly the elderflower.We were effectively the clients from hell and fixed on the cake looking like the watercolour picture she sent went we first ordered and yet changing parts of the design which she was very accomodating with.It was a different shade (mauve not purple) and the brightness of colour was different to what was sent originally and we tried to remedy that in a series of miscommunication instead of allowing Natasha free artistic rein which we regret.The brightness and colour way was a major reason for selecting the design we did and we didn't realise that would change in the final design. I would say, be tolerant, be flexible, and be able to communicate properly in the run up to the wedding!Natasha was definitely one of my favourite suppliers during the course of the wedding process and more artist than cake baker and it deserves to be respected. I would highly recommend anyone to hire her and give her full artistic license.

I got in touch with Natasha at quite short notice, I wanted a bespoke cake for my mums 60th Birthday.Natasha was really responsive to emails and communication couldn’t be faulted.Then it comes to the idea, I sent 4 photos that I wanted to be incorporated onto the design, and left Natasha to do the rest. The results were more than I ever imagined, it was just beautiful.Natashas talent isn’t something I’ve never come across before, it’s really special.The cake went down a storm, and despite leaving it as long as we could to cut it (because we didn’t want to say goodbye to the cake) when we did, the taste was AMAZING, the cake was moist and so so tasty. We went for the carrot cake with lemon buttercream.I honestly can’t wait for the next special occasion to use Natasha again!We travelled an hour and a half to pick up the cake and would do it again in a heart beat for the quality we received.Thank you so so so much Nevie-pie cakes!
