Studio 52 Tattoo

Got my first tattoo ever from Ellie and I am so happy with it!!! Everyone who worked here was incredibly nice and welcoming. I loved everything about the studio, from the decor to all the people! Ellie did an amazing job!!

Ellie is an incredible tattoo artist, I simply cannot fault her. She gives unbelievable attention to detail and is so friendly and puts you at ease. I am so pleased I went to her for my first tattoo. I can’t wait to go back!

Went along for a tattoo with my sister today after coming highly recommended by a friend. All of the staff are so nice. Ellie made us feel so at ease. She’s so friendly and chatty. Also so professional and unbelievably talented. We had discussion when booking, today when we arrived and then to talk us through aftercare too. We are both so happy with our tattoos and the service we received here. I cannot imagine going anywhere else in the future! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and putting us at ease.

Me, my mum and my sister were tattooed by Sophie today and we had a lovely experience. I suffer from eczema and was treated so kindly and was offered information on how to best care for it and advised on the best placement for it. I will be coming back very soon!

Friendly & approachable with enquiries,Glad the place has been taking over since old owners a few years ago - older owners charged me extra after paying £300 for a tattoo for a tiny touch up after healing & made out to be such a hassle for them, my wrist tattoo was laser removed and my skin has been left completely scarred that no other artist will touch now. Re writing my review based on todays events.DO NOT GO HERE. Had a “custom” tattoo that wasn’t drawn up till I arrived and they had to ask for the reference photos again on the day of my tattoo despite the fact I had went for a consultation 3 months beforehand. Asked for NO ORANGE to be in my tattoo and was given massive pieces of orange throughout. Lines are squint. Didn’t cover the tattoo I was there to get covered up - can still see it clearly through the tattoo I got here. Was told by Ellie upon leaving “come back for a touch up any time, they’re free, you might notice it starts to show back through a bit in future” and that the orange only looked orange because of the blood but would fade to a different colour. Messaged yesterday and they want £140 to fix the squint lines, colour that I didn’t want in the first place and the fact that it was a cover up that covered nothing up. Asked them why I was told it was free and explained all of this - they told me they would get back to me and never bothered replying.They eventually replied and done nothing but mock me and tell me that I was “threatening, aggressive and name calling” despite the fact that I have done none of that. They respond nastily to any questions, feedback or reviews. If you have any personal circumstances which prevent you from doing anything or think you might in future, just go to another studio. Don’t go by anything on their website and message to confirm all info as it differs depending on who you speak to. I personally would have paid £50-£90 to have it fixed as it says on their website that they charge £90 an hour to do custom tattoos but I think asking for £140 to fix lines that they done squint, fix a colour that I asked several times NOT to have and make sure the tattoo I came to have covered up is actually covered up is ridiculous. *this is my own personal experience which I am allowed to share so could you (studio 52) not respond in a nasty tone or at all*
