terrible with money. After forgetting about the bill for nearly a year, they send a letter out for £347. It had had to be paid in full, with no discount being suggested, even though I'm entitled to the discount, with being on esa. The esa discount is a slow process, with colleagues not getting back to you for nearly a week! I submitted the proofs, and even that is not enough for them, picking on the names on the letters! I lost my rag this morning in anger, AWFULL

Some of their call handlers need a lesson in customer service (telephone manner) not a nice experience.even worse when they don't apologize for their own errors

Well done NWL for repairing a leak on the A1085 in record time, with no disturbance to the heavy traffic that uses this road. Impressive!

Spoke to a gentle man frist he was very rude ,my phone got disconnected and he did not bother calling back. Called again spoke to a lady she was good started to take payment got the phone disconnected again. They have not been in touch. Very unprofessional company.

Called to report a blocked sewer and they were out within 2 hours to unblock it. Great service

Nearly two and a half years after the death of my mother I was informed that Northumbrian Water has instructed a debt collecting agency to collect a debt in her name. After checking the paperwork it transpired that the bill was for seven months after her death, so was not hers.The first I knew about this alleged debt was from a debt collecting agency and not from Northumbrian Water. Disgraceful behaviour which has caused a lot of upset.Meanwhile they continue to pump sewage into the regions sea and rivers.Turned out that my mam was in credit and Northumbrian Water owed her money at the time of her death.No apology, nothing.To add further insult to injury I was given a date when I will have received the cheque for the credit balance. Nothing received by this date. Northumbrian Water the worst Water company? Probably.
