K2 Hairdressing

Well I’m absolutely livid, I have been a regular at this salon, and have been very happy with my stylist, no complaints there.However I made an appointment with my regular stylist for today, only to be told that she was not available and had given my appointment With her to another lady ( who was actually waiting ) no apology or explanation. Very disappointed.So I went along with it, the lovely replacement stylist colored my hair... then I sat for two hours with it on my hair.I walked out of the salon after having the color washed out ,with wet hair.Complained to the manager and asked for an apology, which was granted.Unfortunately I will not be going back.

Victoria did a fantastic job. My hair was very damaged, boring and in desperate need of help. It had multiple colours in it (green, brown, white, shades of blonde) and I really didn’t like it anymore or feel happy in it. She transformed my hair into something beautiful, healthy and something I am in love with. She made the appointments fun, relaxing and a lovely atmosphere. She was super kind, caring and helpful. She puts her upmost care and efforts into achieving whatever it is you desire with the best, healthiest results. I 100% recommend Victoria. Thank you so much.The hair dressers itself is a lovely environment. With tasty refreshments run by staff who make sure you’re well looked after, and treat you with respect and kindness.

I was very nervous about having my hair done again after a bad experience at a previous salon. K2 gave me a reassuring consultation and I was back the following week for a great colour with Dale which really boosted my confidence. I have found the perfect salon!

Went to this salon while visiting family locally, great service. The stylist that cut my hair was lovely and friendly, all very welcoming. She checked with me throughout to make sure I was happy and the end result was exactly what I had hoped for. Would totally recommend. thanks guys!!

I was really pleased with my cut but the customer service care was poor. The senior stylist cutting my hair seemed annoyed that I couldn’t tell her exactly how short to cut my layers. I thought the whole point of a senior stylist and paying a premium price was that they offered their expertise and experience. I was made to feel quite awkward and not relaxed at all! I did however receive a good cut for which I was pleased but the warm ambience and friendly atmosphere was definitely lacking! Sadly I won’t be returning.

I had my hair semi-permanently dyed which was done very well - a very nice colour! When blow-drying however I felt the stylist was not sure what she was doing - she blow dryed an awkward kink into my fringe making it stick up and look wonky, and asking for loose waves, she simply did a little flick on the bottom of my hair... I was also told it would be £27.50 for a hair colouring, but then when I went to pay they had added an extra £17.50 on for blow drying my hair! There was no mention to this additional cost and I'm sure they would not have let me walk out with wet hair, so a blow-dry surely is part of the colouring process? Was not very happy - felt conned. But the actual colouring of the hair was good quality.

Salon is in a nice location, loved my cut and colour. Didn't feel rushed out like in some other salons, it actually felt like a pamper experience. Stylist actually did what I asked rather than what they thought I wanted!

Visited today and my experience was fantastic from start to finish. Lovely, friendly, warm welcome, superb coffee and most importantly the best haircut I've ever had. Thanks again Natasha - great stylist - listened to what I wanted done and delivered! 5 star service all round. Highly recommended and will be a returning client.
