An incredible and unforgettable experience!I have always found flying and planes fascinating. For my birthday last year, my friends decided to get me a pilot flight experience as a semi-surprise present. I was very excited, but also very nervous in the days leading up to my flight. All my nervousness faded away as soon as I stepped into the relaxed, laid-back atmosphere in the airport and met the wonderful staff. My instructor Tom was very friendly and kind. He made me feel completely at ease. He explained everything in a clear and very engaging way, and he answered all my multiple, enthusiastic questions, all while managing to fly a plane!The experience itself was thrilling and so fun. The city of Oxford from above is beautiful! Tom let me have full control of the plane at some points during the flight and I learned how to turn both ways, as well as how to angle the nose of the plane above and below horizontal. It all felt incredible (and very safe, since I knew that Tom could take back over if I ever started to struggle).Overall, I made some amazing memories, learned lots of cool facts and stories about planes and flying and took some beautiful photos. If you’re a bit of a plane geek like me, I recommend this experience 100%!

My Son's 18th Birthday present, he loved every minute, & Now got the bug. Very friendly people, great facilities.

My 16year old son had a taster flight with pilot flight training at London Oxford Airport. His instructor Graham was friendly and approachable while giving great direction and information. My son was able to taxi, take off, cruise and land within his lesson time. This was more than expected. We waited in the flight club where we had a radio to hear and a good view while being able to help ourself to drinks. It was a great experience for us too.

I cannot recommend PFT enough! From the really friendly greeting at reception, the beautiful space you’re welcomed to prior to taking flight (with free tea, coffee and biscuits!) and the really friendly and informative instructor, these guys do it right. Credit to the whole team who all made my experience on the day second to none. I cannot wait to return for another lesson in the near future!

Excellent session with Graham (Instructor) to 'experience' flying for a short period around Oxford City and surrounding area. Clear instructions, (relatively) simple controls and YOU are flying this plane (with help, of course)! I am sure its a great intro to more formal lessons for a private pilot's license, but as a 'tryout' would certainly recommend this

Just had a 30min trial flight it was fantastic. Absolutely brilliant experience. I highly recommend PFT, brilliant day, fantastic instructor.

Myself and a few friends did an introductory flying lesson with PFT and had an amazing time!All the staff (from booking to arrival to flight) were so lovely and helpful. The location was easy to find and it was easy to book. We had to move our day due to weather issues but were able to reschedule quickly.We each got to fly for 30 minutes around Oxford, try some steep turns, and handle the airplane ourselves once in the air. All the instructors were friendly and knowledgeable.Only complaint is that we may have picked up an expensive hobby. :) Will definitely be back!

This was my first lesson which I had booked through virgin experience days.The staff were amazing! They were friendly and interested to know how much flying experience I had, they clearly had enthusiasm for the hobby/career.Other than in a simulator, I have had 0 hours in a real aircraft and yet was allowed to fly MOST of the flight including taxi, takeoff and landing. As an experience day, I could not have asked for any more hands on experience than landing an aircraft! I fully expected to only have a couple of minutes at the controls, maybe some banking left and right but I couldn't believe the overall experience. The only negative about this is that it made me want to do it again and again, something which I may look into. Flying over Oxford was brilliant! The pilot mentioned some interesting facts as we flew over the university and the city. The flight was very laid back and I did not feel pressured at all to hand over the controls at any given time.Would recommend to anyone!Thank you!

It had been over 45 years since I'd last flown a small airplane. Although it's not like riding a bike (small airplanes have advanced since I last flew), it was an extremely enjoyable experience. Very friendly from the receptionist (Candy) to the instructor pilot (Alex) and made me feel very welcome. If you are thinking of learning to fly, I would highly recommend Pilot Flight Training. It made me feel young again.

What an amazing experience! It was the perfect blue sky day to be flying around the skies over Oxford, but what really made it great was the professionalism, kindness and bonhomie of James, my ace instructor. The ground crew were pretty brilliant as well!
