Orcheton house farm fishery

Had a belting day today 60 fish these were just a few lovely place and lovely owners couldn't be more helpful

Lovely and tranquil place to fish with a very friendly owner. Pegs are reasonably level and you can literally park right behind. The water is quite deep and not too far out, top kit length and two into 7ft of water.The place is STUFFED with carp of all types. They were cruising about the day I went as it was 25 degrees. Koi up to at least 15lb, ghost, Albino's up to probably 20lb if not more! Commons, F1, mirror, leather, plus Rudd, bream, tench and more.I had a good day and found the water not to difficult to fish and get results. I had 4 decent carp, biggest at about 7.5lb and tons of silvers and beautiful Rudd. I will certainly be going back and even though I fished pole this time, I think may try the tip next time as it's an ideal water for it.

Brilliant water, cant wait to go again

Visited two weeks ago and I note a few comments (and local comments in the pub) about the owners ‘nit picking’ and would agree. I follow rules but I don’t go fishing to be made to feel that I am automatically under suspicion. The bloke here is fine , it’s the woman who I just don’t like her attitude, officious would best describe her. Consequently this fishery will be my last option rather than first, despite it being a nice place to fish with some good fish (however take earplugs as there can be constantly barking dogs in the nearby kennel)

Nice well run fisherie, clean banks, nice surroundings and the fish are in good condition.

Fished here many times with no problems and some great fish,yesterday was asked to leave by bailiff for using 1.25 tc carp rods and 12lb line neither if which are mentioned in the rules, this fishery has numerous 20lb plus carp,dont think my tackle was over the top,will not be coming back,very upset wheelchair user. I see that you have amended your rules slightly,a bit too late now.
