Amazing little place for walks. Very muddy and slippery. Make sure you have walking boots or wellies!!

Well it's a nice walk in the woods regardless, but for me this location looked rather unkempt. The pond was very muddy and full of debris. Perhaps this is part of a rewilding process that I'm unfamiliar with, but it seemed rather poorly managed.

Great place for hiking. One hour away from London. Recommended

Somewhat overgrown piece of woodland. But the small pond is a nice tranquil place. The woods get better if you make it up to higher ground. Sadly, the trees suffer from Ash Dieback so this place will look very different in a few years time.

Beautiful pond with a nice walk through the surrounding trees, a few well located places to sit. The path does have steps and is unlikely to be suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.Note that there's no parking and the entrance is by way of a short pathway that leads off a residential cul-de-sac.

This is a delightful nature reserve. I was lucky enough to discover it before the decision was made to protect it and turn it into a nature reserve. A huge amount of work has been done on protecting it and yet throughout these changes it’s always remained a treat.

It is smaller than it seems when looking at it before visiting in person, but it is delightfully laid out with lots of natural wildlife circulating a large pond.

Beautiful place for a really nice walk.Unspoilt country surroundings, hidden lake, very quiet. Just a nice restful place.

The great man himself lived nearby.... Much evidence of careful work to protect and restore the natural woodland. Small, but numinous.
