Amazing experience from start to finish.The booking process was super simple, I called the salon and booked in with a pre-payment and got in a slot. I came a bit early but Julie was very welcoming and very professional.The hair wash was just the right temperature and Julie cut my very thick Asian hair meticulously into the perfect bouncy layers. Even better than what I had imagine!Will definitely be a regular!

Fantastic service! I damaged my hair by DIY and needed to save my hairstyle as much as possible with hair left. Julie did her best and I am happy with result. She gave me some useful advice, too, how to look after damaged hair. I highly recommend Aurora Hairdressing and will definitely pop in again.

100% the best hair salon I’ve been too. I had the pleasure of Vee cutting my hair and I’ve never been happier with a haircut. Super precise, listened to all my wishes and gave me exactly what I asked for. Everyone in there is so kind and welcoming too, definitely recommend!

From the moment I sat down I was made to feel very unwanted in this environment because of the texture of my hair.They were extremely rude and condescending due to my “Afro”hair. My hair is curly, but not at all thick or corse. They made disparaging and underhanded remarks about how much of an effort it would be for them to blow dry and style my hair. What was worse was I was not notified until the end that I was being charged double.I’ve never experienced such prejudice asking for a simple blow dry that did not take any longer than any other client. Being charged double without any prior notice and no other option made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and upset.

I recently tried out Aurora for a gents wash and cut/re style. Vee was really good in explaining what style I should opt for considering my current hair. I was made to feel welcomed and treated very nicely. The atmosphere is calm which is a needed change from the traditional barbers who play loud explicit music. Would I visit again? Yes,

I would highly recommend Aurora Hairdressing - I went in for a restyle on Friday and Vee did an amazing job. She really listened to what I wanted. I found her suggestions of what would work well with my hair type really useful - she obviously knows her stuff as it came out perfectly and I've had lots of nice compliments! I think the test of a good haircut is if it still looks good once you've washed and styled it yourself - I'm still really happy with it and am looking forward to my next appointment :) Thank you to everyone at Aurora for a brilliant experience!
