B&M Home Store with Garden Centre

Just been to b& m Whitworth Road. A new manager there called Caroline. Was very condescending to a young girl in front of customers. Wasn't happy with the way the shelf was filled. Gave this young girl a lot of grief and on a number of occasions said she was going to smack her wrists. She didn't say this in a joking way,and this really concerned me. She was bullying this poor girl. We went on our way but had to return to the store to ask this young girl if she was OK. We called the manager down and told her that her behaviour was absolutely shocking to treat members of staff this way. She said she was joking with her but it certanly didn't come across this way. Hope I don't come across Caroline again and I certainly hope she starts treating her staff members with a vit more respect

It's quite a good store for most of the year but, from September the useful stuff starts to vanish and is replaced with seasonal products, ie; Halloween, guy Fawkes and Christmas, so as I have no interest in those products I tend to stay away until January,

Very good Bargains wall paper is cheap but good quality, am decorating my house most of things have come from B&M.......

Went in today for a large plastic half barrel planter, found them in the garden centre section but no price displayed nor on item, tried to google price but not listed on website, just then a member of staff walked by so I asked him the price, he just said DON'T KNOW! and walked on, went to till with planter to find out price, price was too high, told girl on till what had happened, she knew who I was talking about, told her I would leave it at the till so he could put it back!! lazy Ba@$rd!

Staff excellent asked a question and the staff member went out of her way to get me the answer,got the items I was looking for very efficient going through the checkout,be back again without a doubt thank you

Rubbish store, they never have what I want. There's always stock cages over the shop floor that you have to move out of the way but not much stock on the shelves. There are always prices missing under products.

I love going to B&M they always have the best prices amd great value of goods!

Always find something here and nice household stuff, not all that expensiveEven the DIY reasonably priced

I recently visited the B&M store on Whitworth Road in Rochdale, and I must say I was left disappointed once again. It seems like there is a recurring issue with long queues and often just one, or at best, two cashiers attending to over 10-15 shoppers. This repeated experience is extremely frustrating. In retail, it's crucial to efficiently manage queues, and unfortunately, this store consistently falls short. I've observed many staff members engaged in tasks that seem less critical, such as searching for a bin or putting away baskets. The main focus should be on promptly clearing the queues to ensure a fast and dynamic shopping experience. This recurring inconvenience is truly aggravating every single time I visit the store.

Never enough staff on the tills, takes ages queing up to pay and watch the prices, very often an item will be more than it says on the shelf
