Edgar Wood Victoria Park

My wife and I hired Edgar Wood for our wedding reception after stumbling upon it on Google and loving the quirky architecture and versatile space. Rosie was incredibly helpful in helping us organise everything, and Sue, Steve, and the team at Chapman Holmes catering did a superb job of serving us and our guests throughout the evening. We would highly recommend it to other couples looking for a venue.

Had a wonderful Valentines evening here for the Candlelight: Valentine's Day event with FEVER, the violinist and pianist playing that night were brilliant and sounded great , got some great pics too with the candles layout they did, the atmosphere was perfect for the occasion and really helped you focus soley on the music being played. I would definitely recommend the app for the candle light night events as well as this venue for any occasion.

This place is stunning, great place for an event or wedding. Very unique and unusual building. Loved it

We just want to thank the staff at Edgar Wood for being such an amazing part of our wedding day. We were very impressed with the service we received & the building is just incredible. Our guests keep talking about how amazing & beautiful the venue is. Mine & my husbands families are born & raised in Manchester, but we never new this hidden gem existed until searching for wedding venues. The grounds are beautiful & there is so much space inside. Each room is just so beautiful that minimal decorations were needed. Steve & Rosie were so attentive & lovely. The only thing we would say in the slightly negative is that the official website states The hall is equipped with a state-of-the-art PA system." which it does not

The Edgar Wood Centre is a former Church of Christ, Scientist building in Fallowfield, Manchester, England. Pevsner considered it the only religious building in Lancashire that would be indispensable in a survey of twentieth century church design in all England." It is a Grade I listed building

I visited this place for a charity event. It was a lovely venue with beautiful gardens. Very enjoyable and serene.

This is an amazing venue that we booked for my brother in-laws wedding. Allan ensured all the guests were ok and was happy to go above and beyond to ensure it was a special day for us. I would highly recommend this venue if you are looking for weddings or parties.
