The Village Store

Friendly staff and good choice of products. Lots of cheap Co-op products too which is great.

Great shop for last minute food but the cost is quite high and the choice is poor.

I LOVE THE VILLAGE STORE!!!!! ANYONE WHO SLANDERS THE VILLAGE STORE IS NOT SEEING HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE ELSE SELLS VODKA IN SHEFFIELD??? NOWHERE!!

Whilst convenient for students living in Endcliffe village, items here are overpriced, and the variety of items available is quite limited.

They sell Our Cow Molly milk that's produced in Sheffield & which is delivered direct to them from the dairy farm.

Overpriced, with staff who spend most of their time chatting with friends rather than serving. However it's proximity to students makes it more convenient than walking up the hill to the supermarkets in Broomhill.

Got skimmed milk instead of whole

Convenient if you live in Endcliffe, lots of essentials and even some quirky stuff, however, even though you earn points twice as fast as Morrison's, Morrison's is also 10 times cheaper so if you're okay to walk 15-20 minutes I'd recommend going elsewhere for your groceries, it's just incredibly expensive at the village shop.

As a fresher, it can sometimes be overwhelming when you have to shop for basic necessities for the first time. Luckily, The Village Store has helpful signs dotted around the place to guide you on what you may need! This picture is an example of such and was taken from a few years back when I used to live in Endcliffe. For this specific example, I can't say they've been a great addition to my lunch box from the weird looks I would get when I'd whip it out (the lunch box), but seeing the contents everyday were a reminder of the incredible support The Village Store blessed me with during my times of need. Amazing staff, wonderful store, and an incredible impact on my life. Thank you.
