Khizra Mosque

This mosque has the facilities to perform ghusl for the deceased, a committee that runs the mosque superbly, with classes for the young to learn quran and of course prayer in peace. Excellent mosque with parking.

Every house of Allah is beautiful, but this mosque is beautiful as well as very welcoming. Has a lot of activities that take place here. To name a few, there is an Islamic book shop anyone can go to. It’s very well organised and the staff there is very friendly. They also have kids classes to learn Quran. There is also a class for elders every Sunday after Ishaa prayers to learn Quran. It is in Urdu only so speakers of other languages might not benefit from it. I always go there to pray. Ample Parking spaces. Wudu area has hot and cold water along with hand dryers but no paper towels that creates less mess. It’s always clean. The Imams are calm and friendly. Mostly young except for the Juma prayers by Imam Badr who is now 60 plus and a very nice man. This masjid has been my place of worship on and off for over 20 years and I love this masjid.

Good spacious mosque and community centre. The top two floors are for prayers and the ground is for events. The mosque regularly participates and encourages youth to take part in community welfare projects. The eid mela are open for everyone to come and have a nice time.
