Over the years Harris Mayes have looked after our various Land rovers and other makes of cars. From my little smart car up to my most recent car Vauxhall Mokka.Staff always so pleasant and helpful from dealing with a small issue to my last big service and MOT this week.As I can only drive an automatic car, Harris Mayes make sure there is one available for me to borrow and happy to wait a few days before I get the phone call to say they have a automatic car ready to loan me,Possibly not the cheapest mechanics around but for me it’s the complete service I get from the team which makes it all worthwhile.Treat them with respect and politeness as at the end of the day Harris Mayes are doing a great job looking after our cars.

Harris Mayes Country Cars are, without shadow of doubt, the best Land Rover specialist I have used. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. The mechanics know exactly what they are doing and perform to an impeccably high standard. Parts are ordered on a very quick turnaround, fitted promptly and are very reasonable on price. The garage has old-school values with a modern approach which is very rare to find. Each time I take my car in, I feel confident knowing the work will be completed in a timely manner and will be 110% upon collection. Peace of mind goes without saying. I won’t go anywhere else.

PHENOMENAL, EXCEPTIONAL, OUTSTANDING customer service & mechanical skills!!!!I was recommended Harris-Mayes by 3 people in my village so decide to give them a go after going to numerous mechanics in my life and ALWAYS having awful service, which usually consisted of mechanics being extremely impolite and always somehow finding more work to do on my car that was in good working order just of course, rip you off and make more money. However, WOW i have no words for the service i received from Harris-Mayes. They were extremely helpful, made you feel like your car was in very safe hands, clearly knew their stuff and made my car drive like a dream. I went in with a few issues i knew needed fixing - they had my car back on the road the SAME DAY. Issue with breaks, sensors, tires, you name it… all done within 1 day as i reiterated the urgency of needing my car back on the road ASAP due to having 3 small children. The service i was given was immaculate, no surprise everyone locally sings their praises!!! A working car is so important as it’s a matter of life or death (if something fails etc) so to know my car was handled by an extremely professional, REASONABLE, very very experienced garage, really puts my mind at ease. I most definitely recommend Harris-Mayes to everyone looking to have their car worked on to a very high, well priced standard. No shortcuts (like other garages), people have time to hear you out and not rush an answer out of you… just wow. The guys at Harris-Mayes are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and have been able to fix things on my Land Rover quickly and with no fuss. Always polite and courteous. Very highly recommended for Range Rovers and Land Rover work.

Bravo! I purchased my 1990 Defender in Italy. Although beautiful on the outside, I recently encountered multiple issues that needed immediate attention. Harris-Mayes was absolutely brilliant at attacking and correcting the multiple issues. They have absolutely exceeded my highest expectations. Definitely recommend!!! I approached Harris-Mayes with an idea to build a fully capable offroad and overland vehicle based on a Discovery 2. I've had my Freelander 2 serviced there regularly always with top-notch work and great customer service, so I thought they might be able to help me find a vehicle and get it up to snuff. Not only was I pointed in the direction of a quality platform with a great history of works, but the team accepted the task of bringing it up to my high standard even though I gave them a hard window of one month to do it. Right through the project, I was consulted, listened to, and advised brilliantly. I received regular updates on every change, with photographs, and every unexpected item found was passed by me, giving me an opportunity to choose from several different options. I've partnered with workshops on a number of projects, and this was right up there in terms of ease of navigation and the confidence I had in their execution. The team knocked it out of the park on this one, not only was the work completed exactly on time, despite the great extent of it and it being quite ambitious, but the quality of the work is to the highest standard, sometimes ingenious, and just exactly what I wanted. I attach before and after pictures. This team knows their way around Land Rovers for sure. They care about their work, their customers, and the vehicles. I'll be proud to show off my rig on my adventures around the world and credit Harris-Mayes with the work.

Land Rover Range RoverError Code noticed when I got onM40/M25As I had topped up the Add Blue prior to departure the display did not clear straight away. I also noticed after I had driven down to the M40 the display had changed toNO ENGINE RESTART IN 238MILESI had not enough miles to get down to SussexAnd back home over 225miles back to Lancashire.I decided I was better getting off the M40I knew of a garage in Harefield nearbyThey recommended HARRIS-MAYES without hesitation as a Land Rover specialist.I also stopped at a another small garage to ask the way.He also recommend HARRIS-MAYES and very kindly put the directions into my phone to make sure I got there.When I arrived at Harris-Mayes I spoke to a very helpful person I assumed was the service manager he very quickly got things moving.Before long it was like a F1 pit stopWith more of the team enthusiasticallyassisting. Eventually they made room on a ramp in the workshop. I was offered a comfortable settee to relax and a cup of tea and biscuits.A couple of hours had gone by the fault was diagnosed and I could get on with my journey. I Have to say in 50years of driving in a sales capacity I have never come across such a great garage team bursting with enthusiasm I came away inspired they clearly deserve the local recommendations for their for sheer professionalism.I would Recommend them and thank them all what they did for me on the day.Stewart Mulligan
