Awesome pub on the edge of the town. Good good, choice of beers but best of all was the Old Rosie on draught. We were in a camper and they let you stay overnight in the car park if you eat there. We had the wings and nachos which were mint. It's located right on the canal and a short walk to town. Will go again.

We went to Stubbing Wharf last weekend and ordered bottled ciders and a vegan nachos sharer for two. They have a selection of Old Mout and Rekorderling ciders in bottles which I love. The vegan nachos was great! We both loved the taste. The only criticism I would have is a constructive one where I would recommend that the vegan chilli poured over the nachos could be a bit more as it was quite tasty and we both would have loved more of it. People working at the bar were very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this pub on a rainy day for a cosy time inside or on a sunny day for drinks and food with the view of the canal.

We had a bit of a strange experience here. The positives are that the food was good and there were loads of vegan and vegetarian options. When I asked about gluten free options (there being nothing obvious on the menu I got the reply that the potato skin starter was the only option. We were about to leave when I noticed steak on the specials board. Yes they could do that without onion rings which was great. They then served it with onion rings! After an apology they took the rings away. As the server left I asked if they had any mustard? I don't think so but I'll check". Sadly I did not see him again until after the meal. Other tables had baskets of condiments I later noted. Then as we were finishing our meal someone added gammon steak to the specials. No doubt gluten free.I have given them the benefit of the doubt with three stars

Really friendly staff, nice food at a reasonable price, and beautiful surroundings. What more can you ask for?

Poor experience. Virtually empty pub when we visited with the a limited menu and after nearly an hour waiting for our food, asked where it was, only to be told that the kitchen didn’t have a ticket. Food arrived 5 minutes after informing them, which says a lot as the portions are tiny and most probably microwaved. Paid £55 for 2 bacon and cheese burgers (without bacon as they had run out!) and 2 sausage and mash and would have got better value from McDonalds.

Great Sunday lunch! Really nice inside, good atmosphere and easy to get to from town. The roast dinner was one of the best we have had, tasted like a home cooked meal. Only downside was the Yorkshire was slightly burnt and they need bigger gravy boats! For the price excellent quality, great that you can have unlimited roast potatoes etc.Good selection of beer too, and really friendly service.

We had lunch there and were very pleased with the 5 sharing plates we chose. Delicious and filling. There was a very friendly atmosphere in the pub. The staff were very efficient and also very friendly. We will certainly return and would highly recommend it to anyone who visits Hebden Bridge.

When you want a great pint, a friendly atmosphere, superb service and absolutely fantastic home cooked food there’s only a handful of places you can go and Stubbing Wharf is one of them. You can take the dog, turn up in your walking clobber, enjoy great chat. It’s welcoming warm and friendly and I bloody love it here. I visited on Sunday just gone and eat the most amazing steak and ale pie with a pint and caramel apple tart to finish. Absolutely outstanding.
