The absolute worst customer service experience imaginable not to mention the shameful workmanship.I was given the keys to my property back in March 2020 and the amount of issues I have had is obscene. I have had windows installed that had to be replaced on three occasions due to arriving with massive score marks across them. The ceiling had to be fixed on three occasions due to water seeping in. I have had several kitchen units that had to be replaced due to a variety of reasons (scrapes, marks, out of alignment). I also had a huge snagging list that has taken an age to work through due to ‘delays’ with suppliers - yet during this time they continue to build property around those who have already moved in.From talking to neighbours it is clear that I am not the only one in this position - it is at the point we’re they now just ignore my emails. As soon as they have your money they simply do not care.I would strongly advise anyone looking to purchase a new build property to stay clear of McTaggart Construction.Update (following below response) - In actual fact you failed to respond to an email I sent about a problem with my property for 17 days which I then had to chase up myself, only to be told you would not be resolving, despite it being an issue from when I gained access to the property on 23/03/21 - almost a year ago.I would also like to make it clear you have not made several attempts to contact me. I have had one missed call - and it was only after I was put in a position that I had to leave a review due to my experience.

Probably the worst company I’ve had the displeasure of buying a house from. 3 and a half years later we still live in a construction site.Speeding heavy / large goods vehicles, tractors etc going buy the house several times an hour. Potholes everywhere. Rude workies. And your parking was the final straw which made me write this review. You have 2 vans abandoned on the road, neither of which are a space, and that are so close to each other a larger vehicle wouldn’t be able to pass by.As for the construction of the houses, they are beyond poor. I’ve lived in 3 new builds now and this is by far the worst construction company to date.I could go on but I won’t waste any more of my time.

What an embarrassment. I’d first remove the signs saying you’re “considerate” because you’re anything but.The construction staff you employ are rude, loud, have no consideration for the people currently living in the houses that were bought 4 years ago.You speed up and down on tractors, park in all our spaces - even although it says “No Construction Parking” and scream, swear, shout and laugh at 7.15am in their cars before they continue this while they walk up and down and “work”. Not everyone works the shifts your employees do.When they park (in resident spaces), they can’t even park properly and park in 2 spaces each time resulting in 6 spaces becoming 3 or 4.I have photos and videos which I’ll refrain from posting for the time being. This has been almost 4 years of hell living amongst these idiots, and I write on behalf of an abundance of residents.
