A new sales ring, penning area, cafe and office were built in the early 1980's to modernise the market followed by a further extension a few years later to cope with the increase in stock numbers being sold through the market. The heat today was mental but there live stock was not looked after. Even saw 2 poor birds die. Not enough water to go around no breeze to cool them. Left feeling really upset.
