Intercare Community Support

How lucky my family is that Intercare were recommended to us by a family friend. We had no previous experience of care organisations so felt we were taking pot luck. We hit the jackpot! Every single person we’ve dealt with has been compassionate and caring - whether they were helping Mum or speaking with me on the phone from the office. Although technically they were supporting Mum, I felt that they were supporting our family too. It was such a relief to know she was in safe hands.I’d particularly like to thank Julie Regan for her kindness, particularly in challenging situations. Her ability to use humour to defuse some of these situations was the perfect response. Also, thanks to Claire in the office team who was at risk of becoming my email pen-pal yet always treated my questions with respect, even though I suspected some of them were a bit foolish!I would wholeheartedly recommend Intercare. Thanks for all you did for our family.

I would like to share about the excellent service intercare provide and the empathy professionalism and person centred treatment they deliver.My sister in law who is blind and has dementia is being cared for by the intercare service where she is treated with respect and individuality.Her carer goes beyond caring. She truly seems to enjoy her job and embrace the challenges my sister in law provides.Without intercare I don't know how we would manage. Not only do they provide practical and emotional support but they inform us promptly of any changes.We are very grateful for intercare and would like to say a big thank you to all the staff.Liz Yates.
