The pool is always properly warm and the reception staff are helpful and friendly.

Big workout area, dated equipment and small free weights area. Does have a swimming pool and steam room, however, guests often shave in the Jacuzzi and it's not well kept

Friendly staff and very easy to use facilities. The gym is a little short of weights machines, but it is a nice location with great views over the Liver building. Would recommend.

Nice gym and I was a member here for a few years. Unfortunately one of the staff members was very rude to me repeatedly and also intimidating. I complained and nothing was really done, he continued to be intimidating towards me. Therefore i terminated my membership because of feeling intimidated there. It is a shame because the gym and faculties are really lovely.

Get what you pay for really, gym equipment needs updating and pool area and steam room etc quite dated, mostly friendly staff. The gyms mostly quiet which is good.

Imagine you pay £45 per month and you get the worst equipment in the town. Most of the gym equipment is rusted as you never know if the machines going to work or not. So they might break on you and you get a major injury. These pictures are just the part of and as a plus there is ONLY 1 hair dryer available and that only gives cold air. So if you are thinking about signing up, you might wanna go somewhere else..

Gym with ample amenities including cardio machines, resistance machines, free weights, group fitness classes, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The equipment isn't the newest but it's adequate for most.The gym is also attached to, and serves as the hotel gym for, the Crowne Plaza.

The staff at the spa have an awful attitude, totally unhelpful and unaccommodating. The one family changing room is laid out badly so that everything gets wet and it's crazy hot. I definitely don't recommend

On several occasions, during my 2 month membership, I have asked a question of one particular female member of staff and she has looked at me as if I were an alien and answered in a rather sarcastic, aggressive tone. Rude and absolutely no conversational/people skills. Another time (today), I stopped to produce my member's pass and the same member of staff and a colleague looked perturbed and irritated by the interruption of their conversation. I think some of their staff forget the reason they are there, tbh. A couple of other, clearly more senior, experienced members of staff have been fine, however, on a few occasions, I have arrived only to be told that the facility is closing at an earlier time than that which is advertised.Some of the gym equipment does not work and the range of equipment isn't great. Absolutely not worth the fee but I suspect that those who use the pool, steam room and sauna will continue membership simply because there is no reason competition in the City Centre.
