We popped in today for lunch. The quality and freshness of the food we ate was perfection. I can’t ever recall eating a lunch I enjoyed so much and that is a fact. Our group agreed. Fresh baked hot cross bun with cheese, bacon and tomato relish and a divine salad that tasted like it had just come off the land. The coffee was a beautiful roast and it seems like years since I had a coffee so well balanced. The tray bakes we had after were honestly the best you can get and it was obvious no corners were cut when it came to ingredients. The staff were just lovely and even our fellow diners engaged with one another. What a happy and positive place in a really lovely little corner. I wish the lovely lady who owns Brae and her Brother who I believe bakes and does the food, all the very best because they’ve truly brought excellence to their clientele. Catering is a hard hard industry for those who start a business so I wish to encourage ALL at Team Brae that you’ve absolutely nailed it and your hard work and sacrifice is appreciated. What a lovely experience my Mum, Aunt and I had today to finish off my 50th birthday couple of days of celebration. Brae . . . . you’ve cracked the code for the perfect coffee shop!!

Love this small cafe, coffee is great. Had a bacon roll, lovely soft roll and plenty bacon. Been for lunch before and the selection of meals and sandwiches is diverse and plentiful.Dog friendly with some outdoor seating for when the weather is good.Becoming a regular weekend visitor!

Saturday morning visit, great selection of quality food. I'd recommend the pork and haggis suasage roll. Lots of parking in the square, and it was full at all times so that speaks volumes.

A great local spot to relax. Only issue is never enough pork sausage rolls but worth it when you are lucky to get one and enjoy it all the more.Lovely staff with new faces delivering the high customer service consistently.

Brae is a fabulous cafe, which accommodates lots of dietary requirements. Vegetarian, Vegan and gluten free. The Spinach & Ricotta pastries are amazing. Buddha salad bowls healthy and nutritionally balanced. Tasty homemade soups. Dale is a very talented Chef!The cakes and tray bakes just too good to resist!Jodie & Julie are just delightful, very friendly, the area is incredibly lucky to have such a great place locally.

Just popped past and we were going to sit in but had a dog. Coffee was fine but if you have a dog you need to be outside. Sitting in the rain didn’t appal but Cafe looked nice

Brae and team Brae - you rock! A cafe and lifestyle store done right. We’re lucky to live in Chapelton and call it our local. Food is varied, fresh and delicious. Have you tried a cheese toastie? Wow! All diets catered for. Coffees are lush. Highly recommend an oat flat white, chai or maca latte. Attention to detail is impressive and staff are lovely. The best bit for me is family friendliness, I often go on my own with 2 kids and we’re made to feel very welcome, all of us. If you haven’t been go, if you’ve been - go again.

The coffee and tray bake was pretty decent, but I was disappointed that the sausage rolls and other warm food stopped being served at 2:30 pm.
