Wonderful Chinese

This review is an honest and truthful opinion based on our first, and definitely last purchase from this take away.Anyone who says this is authentic Chinese needs to give their head a proper good shake and maybe a quick slap, we spent £45 and genuinely feel robbed.The picture below is of the £6.50 starter for 2, 2 of what exactly, baby hobbits??? This isn’t even a starter for one!!! Not to mention this junk tastes like it’s fresh out of a frozen bag from Lidl down the road.Salt and pepper chips were less than basic, literally chips with salt and pepper and a bit of onion, extremely lower than expectation in comparison to JK’s in hebden bridge, salt and pepper special was diabolical.Chicken Satay was basic and bland with very little ingredients compared to other local take always.Special fried rice was far from special with 2 bits of what looked like sun dried beef, 2 prawns and 2 bits of chicken.**Definitely not worth the money, nor the wait.**

Ordered special appetisers and sweet and sour chicken balls with fried rice today.Order placed at 18.05 was delivered at 18.18, bearing in mind we are 3 miles from the takeaway how is this possible? The same thing happened a few months ago and the food was of poor quality .So I sent the food back with the driver and then rang the restaurant explaining that this was way too quick and was greeted with a very argumentative member of staff.I question, was this re-heated from from the previous day.The food arrived back 10 minutes later and had clearly been warmed again.What a real shame Wonderfull" when you get it right your food is great but this is 2 times too many

Ordered through just eat and order accepted. 1.5 hours late the driver rang to say he was to return to the restaurant and my food was going in the bin as he couldn’t deliver it to me

Waited over 2 hours for my delivery to arrive. When food arrived it was cold and not worth the money I paid for it.Did I mention I paid £5 service fee for the pleasure of this cold food too?Not great. And when I rang to enquire the person on the other side of the phone didn't have any idea what was going on .

Ordered through just eat. Food waste 45 minutes late and it was marked as delivered on time. Ordered 3 items chicken spring rolls OK if alittle expensive, salt and pepper chicken tastes nice small abit tough and chicken in garlic and chilli sauce bland rubbery and abit of the chicken tasted off.

Prompt on time delivery. Generous portions and quality ingredients. Food was very tasty and well cooked. Well worth a try.

Don’t use this restaurant. Placed an order via just eat & given a time of 7.30 at 8 pm called and they said it would be here at 8.20 . At 8. 55 still waiting so called again . They asked us what tgd order was ? No idea of what is going on. Will never use them again !!

Terrible service ordered my food through rossendale eats and they accepted my order & said it will be an hour it’s been and hour and a half so I rang them. The owner in the background said they can’t do the order tell him (me) we’re not delivering it!! After waiting all that time no one even called me to say it’s not coming. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

Food was about 1£ per dish more than London prices. Showed up more than 1hr late. General standard of the food was ok apart from the fact that they had literally sprinkled granulated sugar over it to the extent that some of it was inedible(see picture of the seaweed, it was like eating sugar from the bag!) Felt like I was getting diabetes by the end of it. Make it cheaper and stop pouring sugar over everything you have a pretty good takeaway but as it is I won’t use it again.

As most do, on Christmas eve we decided to get a takeaway, and who else better than Wonderful Chinese? The chicken balls served with sweet chilli sauce are absolutely incredible!
