The Rub BBQ

The Rub just catered our Wedding and I cannot fault them. They were informative beforehand, and provided us with a good choice to create our own menu to suit our wedding and guests. They were on-time, prompt, set up very professionally. They were incredibly friendly with all, clearly a close knit family run business. Every single one of our 100 guests commented on how delicious their food was, with many seeking out seconds. They then tidied and left very subtly causing zero disruption.Would definitely use again at my next wedding...or maybe its safer to say my next big eventThank you so much.

We used The Rub for our wedding last week. Testers were delicious, booking was easy and we had lots of compliments about the food on the day! Service was great, staff friendly, and Harp was so helpful throughout the whole process, quick to answer and questions or concerns I had. The Rub catered our wedding in June 2022. I cannot recommend Harp and The Rub highly enough. They worked with us throughout our planning, understanding what we'd like and how we'd like to achieve it. They took great care to understand any specific dietary requirements, even being flexible enough to provide a bespoke meal for one of our guests with only a few days notice.Come the big day the food quality, service and quantity exceeded our expectations. Our guests all loved it!We cannot wait to find excuse to visit The Rub at a local event soon!

I can't believe how good the food is from here! First time trying it, as a vegetarian ordering from a BBQ place I wasn't feeling overly optimistic but thought I would give it a go anyway - wow the halloumi burger was absolutely delicious, as were the mac and cheese, coleslaw and fries, yum! All arrived neatly packaged and in really quick time. Will definitely be ordering again!

I have used the Rub BBQ for two parties now and would highly recommend! Harp designs the menu each time and will always happily caters for different dietary requirements whether thats gluten free, vegan or vegetarian. My favourite food would have to be their ribs and my guest comment on them every time. The team are super friendly and feel part of the party. Also they manage to cope with the unpredictable weather that we had at one of the parties. There are always plenty of leftovers to have throughout the night which they leave after they serve! Would book again for a hassle free party.

From the first moment we spoke to Harp we felt in safe hands. His communication was brilliant throughout and he was so accommodating. We’re BBQ people and he took our passion to another level. The food – oh my goodness the food – it’s incredible! You won’t be disappointed by a single mouthful and you can taste the love and care that goes into every bite. Harp made us feel at ease and made our guests feel, well, full – happy guests with very satisfied, full tums! Thank you to all of The Rub Team, you are wonderful! Our wedding day may have started this relationship but it certainly won’t be the end of it – we look forward to seeing you much more in the future (now we don’t have a wedding to plan)! Dom & Jess x
