Really disappointing visit on Friday morning.4 adults, a child and a toddler. We were the only ones in at the time of ordering and yet it took 20mins for anything to arrive.Food came first and we had to remind them about our drinks. Once the drinks arrived, we had to remind them about the croissants for the kids.I had the 3 cheese melt which was really nice. Heavy on the blue cheese but that suits me. My wife had avocado and tomatoes on toast without the tomatoes and with an extra poached egg. It was also nice, but very surprising that a simple egg on toast wasn't on the menu?My daughter had an almond croissant which was the last thing to arrive, after the drinks, which again is confusing considering it's sat on the counter. This was an awful croissant. Very bready and not at all what was expected? It was more like a brioche.The venue was very cold and whilst we were sat next to a portable oil heater, it wasn't plugged in. On closer inspection as to why, the burnt plug socket on the wall was explanation enough.Overall, the venue was very cold, the service very slow and the croissants very disappointing.

Lovely place, would like to come again to try some of the other food. We got the cheese board (picture) last time we went.

Delicious coffee and a good selection of breads and pastries, amazing cheese counter, small amounts of settings both inside or outside, weekends can get busy so go early.

We’re regular visitors to Gerry’s, which in a short time has become an institution locally. Very high quality bread and baked goods and always something new and delicious to try. Also an excellent and carefully curated cheese counter! It’s a place where everyone feels welcome. Great for after school treats, lazy Saturday mornings or a quick lunch on a work day.

Loved the look of the place however the almond croissant was salty and more of a scone texture, very disappointing, the coffee also wasn't great, shame as love to support local coffee shops.

My favourite local bakery and café. Best bread and croissants in Sheffield.Run by lovely locals that care about Walkley. A gem.

Great sourdough bread, good vegan options and lovely atmosphere to sit in for a coffee and brunch

Lovely welcoming cafe with the nicest staff. I always feel really comfortable here just dropping in with a book and enjoying some lunch. Bread and cheese selection on the deli bit is also fantastic.

Oh my worddddd their vegan rocky road tastes Ahhhhhmazing. I don't like vegan cakes but this was out if this world. Excellent owner too. Despite being closing time she was so kind to serve me.
