CabTime - Reading Taxis

Very disappointed with this taxi service I would not recommend at all. Tried to cancel our booking on the day despite booking months in advance and pre paying. After having to persuade them to go through with our booking they were extremely rude on the phone they stated they will be late. Left us waiting in the cold and dark for over 2 hours. Absolutely horrendous service. Felt extremely unsafe waiting for them. Never again.

I pre-booked a cab to go to the hospital in Camberley. I paid £80.50. The hospital cancelled my surgery the day before. I understand cabtime has a 24-hour cancellation policy. So I get it, I would lose some money but I was hoping to negotiate towards my next booking and not lose all the £80. If they were good in business they would have said ok, you can put £40 towards your next journey. But they are not smart. My advice is to anyone: Do Not pre-book with them. You will not be able to get a hold of them by phone or e-mail. Once the hospital is rescheduling my surgery, I will find another taxi company and will book the night before and not a week earlier. If they had negotiated with me, they would have gained a loyal customer who would have booked more long-haul journeys with them.

Very irresponsible drivers that don't show up at the airport after a long trip. They left me waiting at the airport almost 2 hours. They don't follow your flight at all, and the driver's number does not correspond with his when you try to call them, making the app useless. The person in charge of the bookings tells you that they have a driver at the airport, but this not true, so basically he makes this up to save time and call someone else having found the error. Also, they pre-charge your card for the booking when this hasn't even happened, and when you cancel a booking somehow they don't refund your card immediately. For example, it's been a month since I cancelled 2 bookings and they haven't reimbursed my credit card yet. Totally disappointing service. I'd strongly recommend to use another app service in Reading such as Loddon Cars and avoid this company.

Lousy service. The international telephone number given cannot be called from a German mobile phone. Unfortunately, due to illness, a return journey (outward journey was also booked via CapTime in Reading) to Heathrow Airport could not be rebooked at short notice for the next day, with reference to the company policies, and the full price (not a reduced price) was charged. CapTime Reading... never again.

Good service, on time and polite driver. Very satisfied with the service. Happy to use them again.

Got a taxi from Luton airport the other night and have to say the driver was very helpful and very professional. We were impressed and will use this transport again.

Left us stranded at our friends wedding venue. Would not pick up the phone when we called on several occasions. The driver, Mo, was so apologetic after being told about the job 45 mins after our requested time. Completely unacceptable. Have emailed and phoned since Sunday to ask to have the journey partially refunded but cannot get through to anyone. Would not recommend, and seeing the other reviews I can see this is an ongoing issue with the company.

I’m not one for leaving reviews very often but the service I received from this company is worth while. Their airport taxi service is outstanding and ticks all the boxes. Recently I arranged a taxi from Stansted airport for my parents who were travelling to the UK for the first time. The driver was in contact with me and my parents and made sure they were picked up from inside the airport and brought back to my home address. As my parents are old it was important they were collected properly and I must say the driver knew exactly what to do. My parents journey was made easy. Thank you CabTime. Best taxi service!

Thank you so much for the taxi from Gatwick airport. It’s always stressful finding transport back home after a long flight. The drivers communication by text message was very handy it totally made things a lot easier.
