Clarke Opticians

had a feeling that their testing quality is not so good with all those old equipment. Always believed that Independent Opticians test quality is always the best. But turns out its not the case here. 2yrs ago I got the eye test done here and the bought the glasses else where and found I had discomfort wearing it. This time again went here to check my power after 2yrs. But to make sure they are testing right, I went to another place(not here to advertise for the other) to re-test again, they had a totally different results and the Glasses that I bought later according to the new prescriptions are way better for me, no discomfort whatsoever. I guess Clarke has to either revamp their equipment or have a better trained doctor. Also frankly speaking, I wanted to buy glasses from them but they have very little to No collection at all for designer frames that would suit a youngster. On top of it, the 1 or 2 designer brand they have are way more expensive than the same one with High street Opticians, they have to do something on this front as well.

Been using Clarkes for years and under the new management I find the service is still excellent. The new staff are friendly and very efficient and most importantly, my latest prescription is absolutely spot on too. I mentioned that I had some windproof motorcycle sunglasses with scratched lenses. They offered to send them away for a prescription insert quote. Had them done and now have a pair of prescription, Reactolite, polarised, scratch-resistent sunglasses that are absolutely perfect. Very pleased indeed.

Went to Clarke’s to order my glasses after less than satisfactory advice from Boots. The people at Clarke’s were excellent, explaining the options and helping me choose the frames and lenses. Great customer service and got my glasses in a couple of weeks. Thanks a lot.

I moved to Coventry a few months ago, so i didn't have a regular optician here. I went searching on NextDoor for recommendations for an optician. After 7 different people suggested Clarkes I thought i'd give them a go! Everyone at Clarkes is so lovely. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The service is fantastic. Their range of frames is great. I will 100% be using Clarkes as my regular optician. It's a brilliant place and I would happily recommend them to anyone.

I first went to Clarke Opticians some years ago after finding out I was dyslexic as at the time they were the only ones who could test for visual dyslexia.Since then I've returned a few times and have always found them friendly, welcoming and providing good service. I had an eye test last year, but wasn't in a position to buy new frames. They knew I had no intention of buying that day and I did not feel pressured to do so at all and still received good service.I had my annual check up last week and again, received the same friendly service I always have. I didn't want to buy on the day and did not feel pressure to do so. I booked in for later in the month and did purchase my new frames. I was not rushed, I was able to try on all the frames I wanted as well as some frames picked out for me in my own time without feeling like I was being annoying while struggling to decide. I have no intention on going anywhere else for future eye tests.

I decided to use Clarke opticians after seeing an offer on varifocals. Attended my appointment on Wednesday & have to say it was excellent service from everyone. Every member of staff spoke to me, very friendly & made me feel welcome. Also advised me fully all the way along. Helped me chose my frames. I will definitely be using Clarke as my opticians from now. Thank you guys

First time I've been there because they are working with my insurance, but I found there really nice people, they ordered the frames that I want and they have a large variety of models in stock as well. We needed to use Clarke Opticians during lockdown when our own optician was closed. We received fabulous care, good advice and excellent service. The staff are friendly, professional and we felt very safe with good Covid precautions. Will be visiting them again.
