We order from here all the time and I think the burgers are some of the best available in Plymouth! You really need to bring back the pretzel buns though, they’re so much better!

Food was absolutely delicious, me and gf had amazing paninis. Festive music was playing aswell which is always nice to hear. However, during our stay, the table next to us wasn't cleaned before we sat and during which was roughly 20 minutes, give or take. Overall decent place to eat, affordable.

Great pasty house! Vegetarian options. Pasties, baked potatoes, soups, salads and sandwiches. Good portion sizes. You can sit outside if the weather is good. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good for tea and coffee also!

The pasty house changed owners during 2023.The food remains good quality and good value for money.Where the new owners are falling short is with their quality of service. As with all cafes now a days they offer Deliveroo and other collection and delivery services. This now seems to be the priority other than the at table customer service. It has lost that welcoming feeling at table service offers and the chance to build a rapport with customers that we're regulars before the changes. You are constantly knocked by the staff doing click and collect orders as well as those people collecting at 2 particular tables. You also get to hear the staff chatting about all sorts, which personally I don't want to hear when I have lunch with friends. Pasty house needs to change this somehow.I have had lunch twice now with friends and on both occasions despite paying for food, only a drink has come to table because there is too much chatter between staff and as a result mistakes are being made. One further note that the decor needs some attention, its rather stale and the floor and toilet has seen better days.

Really disappointed with our visit, ordered lunch and upgraded our meal to have chips instead of crisps which is advertised at £2.95 but ended up being charged £4 each extra. Chips as an add on are also advertised at £2.95 so very unclear what the charge was for. When we queried this with staff we were offered a drink, even though we'd already paid for one, and then staff walked off which was really unhelpful. Forgotten the salad and coleslaw with a pasty which we paid extra for and the toastie was lukewarm to almost cold in the middle.Thankfully we won't be back, used to come often but absolutely gone downhill recently

My family and I had lunch at the Original Pasty shop and sat outside on the Armada Way seating, as inside the shop it was very hot, on this sunny day. The food was OK, but service was fairly slow for both drinks and food. They also have a loyalty scheme for coffees. I would try other cafes before I went back again.

Staff are slow. Tables are dirty. Toilets are worse. Delivery riders hanging around blocking the toilet. The food is ok at normal prices.

Unfortunately a very rude girl working on the Saturday 16th of September at about 1:00pm. She did not smile and was glaring at us, no customer.service skills. When asked for two Cheese and Onion Pasties sheepishly gave us two which turned out both to be steak. Bad service and not safe for vegetarians. We were unable to get a refund as we were home before finding out we were given the wrong food.
