We have a Steve Slimm calendar every year he has produced one and it is always amazing. We are also lucky to have two paintings and a print of his in our home. You can see the impressionist developing throughout his generations of art. He is a talented and gifted artist and if you ever have the pleasure of meeting him he is also a true Gentleman. I would not hesitate to recommend his works to anyone, I did not really understand the importance of art until I purchased one of his paintings. I see something different in Steve’s painting every time I look at it. It is Magical.

Several years ago whilst browsing the galleries in lovely Mousehole, I fell in love. Luckily for my husband, who was with me, it was with a painting-a large sea/landscape with a stunning Turneresque sky. He secretly bought it for me! We both love Steve's evocative style & now have seven original works, including a commissioned piece, & a beautiful ,mystical giclee print of my favourite view where we live, which Steve had visited, which we just happened upon when visiting Steve in his 'cave'. We highly recommend meeting this lovely man & owning a piece of his beautiful art- I smile every time I look at ours.

Steve Slimm paints wonderful paintings capturing the mood and emotion of the place depicted. The work appears different each time you look at it depending on the light and indeed your own mood. It is a pleasure to live with his paintings. And it is a pleasure to visit Steve himself whose generosity with his time and knowledge is very special.

We have been buying Steve's work since the mid 90's We now have 8 originals and one print. We had the pleasure of meeting Steve earlier this year at his studio - of course we acquired another work! There are a lot of artists in Cornwall of course and great work being done but to us Steve is unique in producing highly original work that conveys the real essence and atmosphere of the Cornish landscape brilliantly.

We’re lucky enough to have three of Steve’s landscape impressionist work in the house. Each one captures the soul of Cornwall and reflects the raw emotion and rugged beauty of a truly magical landscape. Truly beautiful Romantic Impressionism somewhat, but not entirely in the style of Turner.

We have three of Steve's giclee prints on our walls - they are beautiful. People who visit our house regularly comment on them without being prompted even to look at them. I've also found that Steve's notelets are enthusiastically received by anyone we send one to. I keep up to date with Steve's work and absolutely encourage other art lovers to enjoy his work

I first came across Steve's work in 1994 when I bought the first of many pieces, a gorgeous watercolour that is of nowhere in particular, but it's a place that you would like to be. And this is a recurring theme for me in Steve's imagery, the scenes are kind of familiar but I can't place exactly where. But I'd just love to get there.Aside from the genius of the art, you'll find Steve is perhaps the most accessible artist ever, with a very active (and light hearted!) social media presence and a brilliant 'membership' kind of thing with an occasional news letter sent out wit various bits of interesting stuff.
