What Records

Shockingly poor customer service. Items that are clearly not in stock are still being sold. I bought a record on September 2nd and after aboit 5 days still had no dispatch notification. I got in touch and was only then told it wasn't in stock. I asked to cancel the order as I needed it by a particular date that was over 2 weeks from my original purchase date. A few days later I get an email promising it will be with me by the date needed and I agreed not to cancel the order provided it could be dispatched by an agreed date. This did not happen and I sent another email asking for cancellation. This was ignored and the record sent the next day, not even by 24 hour service as promised. Now, the record won't arrive until after I have left my house and I won't be able to get it. Absolute nightmare, it's put me off ever buying from smaller independent stores.

Believe the bad reviews! I took a chance with this company as it was cheaper but stick with trusted sites like roadrunner, HMV, rough trade etc. Bought well in advance as a gift, says online orders are dispatched within a few days and then shipping is 2 days. Over a week later, emailed with no response, waited another week and finally got a response and obtained a refund thankfully. Please spend the extra £££ and support good record shops

Awful. Ordered two vinyls, one came damaged and the other never arrived. Was promised a replacement sleeve for the damaged one and still have not recieved it, despite being well over 3 months since I ordered from them and having to chase them up with emails every 2 weeks. Have been lied to about it already being dispatched. Avoid at all costs.

Simply abysmal service. Advertises records he doesn't have, sends out part of an order, initially responds to emails about the whereabouts of your other records and then ignores emails completely. I'm just pleased I paid with PayPal and managed to get a refund through them. A thoroughly unpleasant experience and infuriating dealing with someone who has absolutely no regard for customer service. Avoid at all costs.

When buying at this store be careful, they can return the money past 2 weeks and without notifying the reasons. They look like little boys from the street doing business, do not comply with the obligations. If you find in another store, escape from them. Sometimes the price is not worth everything, they sell products that do not have in stock what is an abuse

Brought three records (2 in 1 order) from them, all arrived within the week, perfect condition, in a safe package. Very well priced, one of the albums was double the price on amazon. The website it well managed telling you what's in or out of stock. No problems what so ever, only issue is they don't send an email saying order received/ order dispatched. But by checking my orders on the website you can find the status out. 100% recommend

Having spent over £1000 with this company since 2018 (truly), I think I am in a position to offer a balanced judgement. Initially, I was impressed with their competitive prices and good packaging. I had one or two minor niggles, but they were slight. More recently things have gone slightly south. I've had problems with items listed which weren't in stock. Also poorer communication including items delivered when I was away and ignored my requests (like another reviewer). I had to cancel one order because it was clear they didn't have the items in stock and should have been upfront from the start. I am now starting to look for alternatives.

I'm sure these are very nice people from emailing with them and have had no problems getting refunds (hence 2 stars and not 1). However, I wouldn't order from this company even if the prices are shown to be lower which is why I initially did. I've tried to order 3 vinyls over the past 2 years when they said they were in stock. After no update 2 weeks after ordering I had to chase it up myself only to find out they don't actually have it in stock and didn't seem pressed to notify me. If you're trying to get a vinyl that is hard to find, don't put faith in ordering here as it may go out of stock at a legitimate shop that keeps accurate logs of its inventory. I'd advise to go elsewhere from personal experience. What records? ... unfortunately an accurate name for the company.
