Greetwell Hollow Day Nursery

Staff are inexperienced and under qualified.There have been times children with allergies have been given the wrong foods and a room of 20 children have had no eyfs or safeguarding trained staff. Please thoroughly check the setting and staff before sending your child here, I would not send my daughter here if it was the only nursery on earth!

My son has been attending Greetwell hollow for around 10 months now. He is in the nursery, soon to be moving onto preschool. The staff at greetwell are fantastic. From the moment you drop off at the door they are there with a smile. They regularly post onto tapestry which keeps me up to date with what they're doing in the setting, and what my child is learning. I also get updates on things like eating habits, and toilet training, which has been amazing. They definitely go the extra mile. My son has made plenty friends at nursery and regularly talks about the staff too when he's at home. He learns about so many different things, and the nursery follow the children's interests which again is wonderful to see. All the nursery staff are friendly and approachable, and communicate effectively with us. They're always happy to offer support, or answer questions. Overall I'd say this is an outstanding nursery. My son absolutely loves coming to nursery and when my youngest son is older I'm sure he'll be coming here too.

My daughter currently attends this nursery and I honestly wouldn't want her anywhere else. They are friendly, professional and she adores going everyday. The staff are amazing, especially under the circumstances with covid, and have really brought my daughter out of her shell and help with everything that we need!

Our son has been attending for four weeks now and we cannot be happier with this nursery. The staff all seem to really love what they do and you can tell they really care about the children. No matter who you speak to you always get a really friendly, helpful response. My son is well cared for and gets so excited when he arrives in the mornings, he’s always really happy when we leave too. I cannot recommend this amazing nursery highly enough!

Having worked in childcare previously, I knew what I wanted for my son when I was looking for a nursery. I looked at many others and Greetwell Hollow was the only one that made me think my son would be happy and supported there. He has been attending for 18 months and I could not be happier. My son talks about the staff, the other children and the activities he engages in constantly. Staff and management are always happy to talk.

I have used this nursery for both of my children. My son currently attends in the preschool room. I've been very impressed at the wide range of activities and themes the nursery has offered, they've had caterpillars and chicks to look after, learnt about wildlife and animals. My son receives excellent care and has learnt so much!

I can only go from the viewing" I had when I was looking for a nursery.The baby room is tiny! Smelly and very messy. Also certainly not a good 1st impression to walk into a screaming

Fantastic Nursery !!! We thought the last nursery our little boy went to was amazing but after only a few short weeks greetwell hollow has impressed us so much more, our child has already learnt so much and he bounces out of bed on nursery mornings now excited to go. Their outside toys look a little old and faded but please do not let this put you off like we all most did as we would have really missed out. Jamie and the team communicate with both the children and the family's so well and we have been kept in the loop all the way through.
