Dr. Martens

The young lady who served me listened closely and for me exactly what I wanted.

It has been a long time since I have owned a pair of Dr Martens boots, probably over 20 years now. I'm going to guess that I'm not the target demographic and I would be disappointed if I was.The selection in store was beyond what I would have expected, when we were there, there were a number of kids getting fitted and they looked class in glitter boots.We were there with our daughter as after a very rough first year at secondary school, it looks like things are going really well and she has wanted a pair forever.Personally, after looking through the selection I was rather taken by the burgundy vegan pair which while looking bullet proof also looked like they could with stand nuclear war. If I get myself a new pair in the future these will be mine though I imagine after two weeks they will look like a map of Norway.The staff were really patient with my daughter, going through what was in store for bespoke designed DMs, through original DMs to soft leather DMs which were the ones we finally decided to go for. The member of staff who took us through the options we had, I feel that they took us to the correct option for my daughter and it was potentially one I would have not recommended. The member of staff then took us through the process of ordering the DM we wanted online as the exact size we wanted was not in store. On the whole we had a very good experience.Now I have to say that if you want to see upstairs in the shop and you have any mobility issues then you are unlikely to be able to get up there. That said I did not see anything upstairs that was not downstairs.

Visited the shop on a busy hot Thursday afternoon. My eldest & I were greeted & welcomed by all staff, once ready for the big decision we were helped to find the perfect pair of Adrian Bex loafers by the lovely Matt. Fast checks on sizes & locating shoes to try on, lovely chat & generally great customer service all round. Nice airy, clean store with a great selection of Docs. Expensive but worth it. My other half bought her first pair of DM’s in over 20 years. Well worth the drive from FEENY, Derry. My daughter Sienna got soft leather ones for Christmas.

Was bought a gift card and then had to send broken boots back! They cost £180 so I was so upset. When the money was returned I have been unable to access the gift card as my father in law doesn't have the recipet. I also don't have the gift card information as I didn't keep it! I thought great company I was wrong! What a mistake even though my details are on the transaction (in emails) for my original bought purchase as my father didn't keep the receipt and I no longer have the gift card I have lost money! Don't buy gift cards

I always wanted to buy a Docs. The staff here helped me a great deal finding the right size (a standard one size down from the common brands) and explained me about the material and how to maintain it. Many thanks to the staff for making my first docs purchase more memorable with their excellent customer service. A lovely bunch, indeed!
