Steps Estate Agents

These guys are terrible, low life scumbags. They broke the law under the table. You put in a offer & they don’t even respond & email communication is terrible. They will attach hidden file’s without even telling their is a attachments. They avoid questions & want it the easy way.

Would advice that this estate agency be completely avoided, or at least your expectations of anything be lowered to the fullest.Viewed a house which I was told had no one interested in it. Called the agency immediately after the viewing to state my interest. After being told I’d receive an email to proceed with referencing and vetting, I was completely blanked, regardless of whatever efforts I made to contact the agents.Till now no response!!Best of luck to whoever reads this.

I contacted the agency for a viewing, from the beginning they were awful. They sent agents that didn’t know anything about the property. Then I spent over a week chasing them for the outcome, eventually I received an email with the outcome. The agent said I wasn’t successful as the landlords went with someone else. So I booked another viewing with a different agency, they allowed me to view the property straight away, contacted the landlord with my offer which was accepted within 2 hours. The contract is now in the process of being drawn up and references checked. Talk about different ends of the stick. Worst part was the agent made me feel bad for being on maternity and said I could get rejected because of this, surely that’s discrimination! Never again with steps!

A remarkably friendly, kind and helpful company. We could not have asked for anyone better to help us sell ours house. Steps make you feel like your part of their own family with the interest that they take in you and no question gets left unanswered, and the reassurance that you need is given at a time when everything is upside down in your life. One of worse Estate agents ever. If you want to buy or sell houses do not go to them, One property they sell to few people same time. Later on they blame saler.They sell property to me after paperwork done even search results they sold property to another buyer higher price. Worse ever Estate agents

I recently completed on the purchase of a flat which was with steps. Throughout the process I dealt with Sev who was absolutely fantastic. She is very professional yet feels so very approachable and warm and understanding regarding the whole process. She was very active in chasing for updates and at times I would find out more information from Sev than from my own solicitor. I highly recommend this agency, staff very nice, friendly, approachable and professional.

Absolutely outstanding, Peter Franklin is an absolute star in fact the whole team are. From start to finish they went above & beyond & dont just cut you off the moment you have a sale, they maintain contact to ensure everything is on track. What can I say? Steps has been amazing throughout my property sale. I can't find any fault at all. Sev, Kevin, Richard and the guys over there have been brilliant - supportive, communicative, in daily contact with updates, proactive, and friendly. Top class service. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Steps have a nice team of very talented people. Nicola initially showed us the property and went out of her way, to even drop us by the train station!. We had not made up the mind to buy the house by then !, they definitely care about their customers. Eventually we had good communication with Richard, he is a nice and friendly guy & did his best to push things forward for us when they were stuck. Overall they have a nice team with expertise in specific areas - I would definitely recommend going with Steps if you wish to Buy/Sell any property.
