Everything at 'bargain' prices, including friendly service. My only compliment has to do with a lack of open checkouts, long queues back into isles with no way to know which line to join.Update 21st March 2023 - Better than ever now prices have risen all-round, H.B. still offers some of the very best value, excellent.Update 20th May 2023 - no change still excellent. During today's visit, the checkout man was very welcoming and friendly.Update July 2023 - one-stop and still excellent.

Excellent larger sized Home Bargains store in a great location, selling a huge range of branded household products, toiletries and confectionary, plus much more, as always at amazing prices. Bright, clean and tidy interior with friendly helpful staff, with the Bay View car park conveniently right in front of the store.

I'm on holiday and went in to Colwyn Bay to purchase a rubber mallet, 7 sirloin steaks and some outdoor games. I saw there was some nice looking cider so put 10 cans in my basket too. I got to the checkout and was told I couldn't be served because I had my 16 and 17 year old with me and they didn't have ID. Of course they didn't they are not old enough to drink.Never heard of such a thing. Ridiculous

Went in on a Friday morning, everywhere seemed to be fully stocked and Store looked clean. Encountered a very miserable member of staff who was pulling some trolleys into the back, she left them in the middle of the aisle at first and when I couldn’t get around she huffed and moved them into the back and didn’t apologise. Staff member on the tills was nice though.
