A huge lake but very tricky. You have to camp a few days for a successful fishing trip.

Lovely place and very helpful with my enquiries. What attracted me was the fact that it is all private. Shame that some people seem to not understand the fact.

Great place to fish, if a little daunting at first.

Nice place and setup. However, the welcome was way less than perfect. Approaching the lakeside set up and was quite aggressively told by a larger than average woman we were not members, and asking why we were here. 100 other ways of saying that without being so rude. We were just passing through on a walk and thought about enquiring on joining options, but blatantly not the right place to join, if that is the standard of club member. Someone else got the same treatment while we there as well. Very strange behaviour for an organisation that should be welcoming new members. I don't even know what else to write here, as it was bizarre. I know I should perhaps be more forgiving as you do get idiots in all organisations, but this was my experience on this occasion, and has put me off completely.
