Clarks Hill Kennels & Cattery

Our dog Alfie stayed for 2 weeks, the longest he's ever stayed before and only the second time and the staff couldn't do enough for us reassuring us he was okay and sending pictures and updates whilst we was on holiday.Emily was so kind to him and it sounds like she treated him like her own.I would highly recommend them and would be more than happy to let Alfie go there again.

A wonderful place run by Barbara and her family, along with her wonderful team. Two great dog fields as well to hire by the half hour for exercising or agility training for your dogs. The cattery is also very clean and well kept. Can’t praise Clarks Hill highly enough.Update 05/02/23 with pictures for any prospective users of the poly tunnel.With the addition of the gates on the new poly tunnel field, together with the artificial grass as a path to get your dogs on & off the field & back to your car, in this awful weather that we’ve been experiencing you can now take your dogs for a great run out without the need to bath them afterwards or towel them down to stop your car getting messed up. This is a pleasure to use and is more than worth every penny that you pay. Once again, Barbara and the family have gone way beyond the extra mile to ensure a safe haven for you to exercise your dogs. They are also in the process of adding lighting to the facility which is also a fantastic addition. Lovely, professional family run business.It's immaculately clean. They provided optimum care looking after my pooches. It's more like a 5 star doggy hotel!

I use the secure field regularly. Its perfect for your dogs to release some energy in a very safe and secure environment. The use of the agility equipment is a definite bonus. The field and other areas are kept to a very high standard with fresh water for the dogs and seating area for yourselves is provided. Perfect for a doggy date.

Booked the play field easily online, arrived, and was explained to what to do as it was our first time, great space, and some agility equipment to use, letting our dog board in the kennels in the summer do shall review that then, great place.

Took my Grumpy Akita to the enclosed area today for time off the lead. He absolutely loved it so will definitely do it again.

My Staffie stayed for 2 weeks and she came home in great condition. I would not hesitate to leave her in their care again.

I take My dog to the secure field because he is dog aggressive and can't go off lead. The fields are brilliant. Huge with lots of agility equipment. I am really impressed with the recent addition of the poly tunnel for when it's raining too. Very spacious. The dogs in each field can't see each other and my dog can run around freely and happy. The staff are always friendly and helpful too.
