4 Minutes First Aid

Andy was a brilliant instructor; very engaging, patient and knowledgeable. He also had a great sense of humour (which was needed with our group!)

I cannot recommend 4 Mins First Aid more highly! Becky taught my participants on the one day training course. The group had a mix of learning difficulties, literacy issues and ADHD, but Becky easily adapted the session to ensure they would all learn the necessary information. Will 100% be working with you again.

Amazing place to get your First Aid training done. Andy was engaging and paced the training very well, he ensured that there were opportunities for everyone to try the exercises at their own pace. Very easy to follow lesson plan and would recommend to all.

I recently completed a two day (16 hour) First Aid training course with Andy at 4 Minutes First Aid.I would recommend his training courses; it was relaxed enough for me not to feel nervous, but at the same time, we covered so much in those two days and I feel well equipped to go back into the work place and deal with any first aid situations should they arrive. As the course was partly geared towards first aid in the Forest School, we acted out a number of 'real life' scenarios which really helped bring potential situations to life so that we could put the theory into practice! Really great First Aid Training session at our office. Informative and useful.Lots of practical work and no endless slide shows on the computer, which made it more fun for the group. Test at end was made easy by just downloading to our phone, so much quicker and easier then completing forms etc. Thank you

We recently engaged 4 Minutes First Aid to give the Basic Life Support training to a diverse group of staff and volunteers. Andy was excellent, covering a wide range of topics, but the important ones in plenty of depth, able and willing to answer all our questions. On top of that, it was a relaxed and entertaining afternoon, and we all feel that we benefited from it. Thank you, Andy!

I attended a course in February. I have attended several of these over the past 20 years between the NHS and outside providers, I have to say this would come out tops. Andy delivered a course which encouraged the student to think about their actions, assess the situation, ask questions and become comfortable with the skills necessary for first aid. Taking the panic out of the dealing with a emergency in real life. Nicely done Andy! Highly recommend!

I attended a one day First Aid at Work course on Tues 3rd August 2021, run by Andy Crowhurst, Director of 4 Minutes First Aid Training. Although I am a qualified and practising nurse, I did the course as part of my role at a Church Mums and Toddlers Group. Despite my background knowledge, the day was very worthwhile and enjoyable. Andy has a wealth of first aid experience and uses very practical methods of teaching to engage the audience. There was chance to practise applying bandages and slings on each other, plus practise and refine resuscitation skills using dummies. The course content was wide ranging and evidence based. The venue is easy to find and less than a 10 min walk from Maidenhead Railway Station. Plenty of tea and coffee on offer to fuel the brain cells! An excellent day and highly recommended.
