The New Inn
Food wasn't the best here, had better elsewhere. The ham was very pale & the thick chips was under cooked, the puddings was very little portions for the price. We was very disappointed & won't be going back there again. When we told one of the staff she didn't seem to care, £65 it's a lot of money to pay when the food wasn't that good.

Been coming to the new inn for 20+years never had a bad meal always lovely. Today meal sizes were a lot smaller steak in the pie was disgusting fat and chewy with bistro gravy, even the chips weren't like they usually are and sizzling lamb there were 5 thin slices of lamb and a few onions and the plates were hotter than the food nobody came to see if everything was ok will not be returning .Such a shame use to one of the nicest places for food .

Took my son for a little holiday treat and we both had a sirloin steak.Disappointed that at £22.50 each it was a terrible piece of steak, about 40% gristle/ fat and to add to this is it was massively overcooked. I've bought better steaks from AldiI couldn't leave my son alone in the beer garden to take it back, and honestly, I didn't want to trot to the bar with 2 plates of food. No one ever came back to see how our meal was so we just sucked it up and ate what we could.Really disappointed as it was busy so clearly this wasn't a typical experience.On the plus side, the chips were delicious.

Visited two weeks ago was pleased to find a dog friendly pub with food. Food was very good. First afternoon all was fine. Second afternoon service was very poor. Had to ask for a steak knife, staff were too busy chatting to each other, playing with balloons to see if all was ok and if we needed anything else drinks etc. I had to go to find staff member to ask for the bill. I complained, the Manager apologised, but it was too late by then, we had finished our meal and would have stayed longer had the service been better, it as our Wedding Anniversary. Very disappointed.

Lovely pub/restaurant in Dyserth 2 minutes walk from the beautiful waterfall. Had a great welcome by the staff and was looked after really well throughout our meal. Had the steak and ale pie, good portion size,lots of large pieces of meat, no fat, great taste. Highly recommend.

Rang 3 times left 2 messages re a booking for today. Unable to speak to staff to make a booking. Sent a email no reply to the email. So I don't know if we have a booking or not. Never used to be like this, if you rang the pub you always got a answer. Good way to loose money.

I have just been for a meal to the New Inn with my family. After the unfortunate flooding, the owners have done a fantastic job with the renovation. It has a very cosy feel inside and is very well furnished. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was incredible and really good portions too! Excellent value for money. I had to get a dessert as well and was shocked by the size - it was huge! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was lovely for us that our dogs were welcomed too. I would highly reccomend this fine establishment.

Had lunch yesterday. Glad to say standards are back. It was lovely. My husband gave the pasta dish 10 out of 10. The bit of pastry on top of steak pie was odd but the meal was delicious
