I just had a special curry and a portion of fried rice and it was very nice plenty of meat and mushrooms also some prawns I will certainly be going back to the. golden bowl

I would highly recommend this place! We just moved to Soham next to Newmarket, and first time trying Golden Bowl! Every item we had we absolutely delicious!!!A lot of people on here complaining about order issues with just eat.. don’t let that put you off the quality and tastiness of the food! We will definitely be back!!!

Ordered from here few times this year and it’s been great. The rice is light and fluffy rather than coated in oil. The spring rolls are amazing dipped in satay sauce! The shredded chicken is nice and crispy. If you have ordered from here in past and it hasn’t been good I would give them another go as they have massively improved from when I ordered last year.

Ordered via just eat whereby I paid a delivery charge. It arrived 1hr 15 after I ordered and then when it arrived at our doorstep, we were told we needed to pay a further delivery charge in cash. We had no cash, nor were we informed about this additional delivery charge when we ordered, so the delivery person then said he needed to make a phone call. This is at 9:45pm and we are basically being held hostage at our own doorstep, while they proceeded to argue with me about this delivery charge. Not wanting to be harassed on my own doorstep any longer, I ended up having to close the door on him, and then fortunately (or unfortunately!) he left our order on the doorstep. Everything except for the Singapore rice noodles was bland and watered down and i have never tasted such awful egg fried rice- suffice to say we will never be ordering from here again!

Really great food.The food was realy hot when my food came to my door.And the delivery turned up on time.And the Delivery driver was polite.And the food has loads of flavour.And the food is realy fresh.I will order agine from you.

Last year, my Father told me he has stage 3 lung cancer and is close to death; and I rate eating this “meal” made this the worst day of my life.

I aways use the Golden Bowl for my weekend takeaway treat, on this occasion I ordered amongst other things some sweet and sour pork balls, after the 3rd pork ball I fell badly ill being sick which persisted for the rest of the evening, I honestly haven't felt that ill before, my wife phoned the takeaway to complain and ask for a refund but was met by a very unhelpful receptionist who completely shunned their responsibility and did not want to know, if this is how they treat their good customers then they don't deserve any customers at all, I for one will NEVER use Golden Bowl ever again and I definitely will not recommend them to anyone.

Don’t get the salt and pepper tofu it’s disgusting maybe the worst tofu I’ve ever had I gagged and spit it out the two times I’ve ordered from here. It’s too dry and flavourless.

Ordered through Just Eat. Delivery time was stated at 19:20 - 19:40. At 19:20 I received a text to let me know my order had been cancelled due to no drivers. I call BS on that. Wish I had read the reviews before placing an order. Certainly won't bother again.

Ordered on Just Eat, order accepted by restaurant (money taken) then immediately rejected as they said there were no couriers. They clearly don’t deliver here. I ordered at 8pm and they don’t close for another 3.5 hours. Total rubbish. Either Just Eat needs to remove them from my search or they need to deliver. There really is no in-between.
