Brilliant finish and excellent customer service.I took in two items for alteration. The first, a silver dress, was taken in perfectly. There was a slight misunderstanding on the second item (an old jacket, which needed a pocket and zip fixing). When I contacted them about it, they told me to come in and they turned it around in just 20 mins! What brilliant service. Would definitely recommend.

Bought fabric and thread for my daughters latest project. There was an incredible amount to choose from, something for everyone. With friendly staff and such a wonderful selection will definitely be returning soon. We were also given a great discount.

The only place around here that does repairs like new zips etc. This place is an Aladdin's cave of everything you could possibly want for knitting, sewing and dressmaking. Just amazing.

I had taken my motorcycle jacket to get a new zip. I had to order my own which I was fine with.I am really happy with the work that had been done, it's like new!I definitely would return and recommend this sewing studio.

Great shop been here many times. Unfortunately today all the staff were busy on sewing machines. And definitely not the least bit interested in serving. There were 6 people in the shop but they just carried on sewing. Always credited this place with great staff. Needless to say I saved a fortune. I wanted fabrics to make a quilt and had driven over from Hull. Won't make that mistake again.

Wow! What an amazing shop! Tardis like and full of fabric treasures. And lovely helpful staff - and alterations too.

I dont like leaving negative reviews but with the state on this repair i felt i had no choice:I had a stone island jumper and hugo boss polo shirt repaired as they both had a hole just below the collar area.I paid extra to have them repaired within a couple of days as opposed to there usual wait time of a week. To me, it looks like theyve rushed it and only taken a couple of minutes per article of clothing. I genuinely feel like i could have repaired them better myself.Really disappointed, especially seeing as though both items of clothing were so expensive to buy originally. The boss polo shirt cost £85 and the stone island jumper cost several hundred, i feel that extra care should have been taken because of this.*in response to your reply*Thankyou for your comment, I understand your trying to defend your reputation but the lies are unnecessary. The stone island jumper had been worn once. It was neither old nor dirty or smelly. You said, with confidence, when i came in, that these items could be repaired no problem. The worksmanship is of such a poor quality i feel a primark sweatshop would have been more sufficient. Also, I asked if you could repair them the same day, not demand. As you should be aware if you have a coherent memory, i said i live 40 miles away and work 9am-6pm 6 days a week, rendering me unable to visit the shop with my work hours getting in the way. Hence why i had a friend collect them today whilst i was at work. This isnt me just being picky, literally everyone i have shown have all been gobsmacked by your attempts at repairing the garments. I genuinely could have repaired them better myself. And yeah your right, i cant afford to buy new stone island jumpers for several hundred pounds each when i get a hole in one, thats what tailors repairs are for.Its not the money im bothered about, i spent double that on fuel alone to drive to you. Its the fact that i had confidence in a quality repair and ive been let down with a terrible result and no apology nor have you tried to take any responsibility. The lack of decent, credible customer service is just as disappointing as the repair work.
