The Loft Room

Loftroom has just completed our loft conversion and we couldn't be any happier with them!We have been guided smoothly through the process from the estimate to the building works and completion.Loftroom arranged everything in time with the sub contractors (roofers, tilers, plumbers, electricians, plasterer, decorator) which gave us piece of mind and confidence in the works undertaken.We could not praise enough our team lead Mihai who is not only an amazing builder, but a great manager, who always listened to our desires and answered all our questions, offering his professional view.Mihai was on site every day, however as well as all the other workmen always kept the nuisance to our everyday life to a minimum.We have now moved to our new bedroom and have been enjoying the view from the top and the new en-suite, it has added so much value to our house which we really appreciate.Thank you Loftroom!

We approached The Loft Room (as well as a couple of other builders) to create a bigger master bedroom in our house. The initial appointment with Paul, plus the website and reviews, made it a clear choice to use them for our loft conversion.They handled the whole process from start to finish, including architect, planning permission, building control and construction. The build was a fixed cost that included all the essential items except for the bathroom suite. We were free to add more items at a cost- which we did.The project manager, Dave, and his colleague, Conner, were excellent. They worked really hard and consistently to get the build done efficiently and to a high standard. They were flexible and helpful and made sensible adjustments and suggestions as they progressed.We had several tradesmen assist with the build including plumbers, electricians, tilers, carpenters and decorators. All were recommended (or provided) by The Loft Room and all did a great job, with attention to detail and very good quality.Overall we are really pleased with the final result. We now have a lovely space, built efficiently and to a very high standard. We would definitely recommend The Loft Room to anyone considering a loft conversion.

After speaking to a few others who had worked with The Loft Room and our initial meeting with Paul, we decided to go ahead with our project and were certainly not disappointed with the decision.Our friendly project manager Edi and the team did a fantastic job, working incredibly hard and diligently every day to ensure the project was completed on time and on budget. Edi in particular went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble, even visiting at the weekend when there was a storm early in the project to check the loft opening was still covered and protected. Rich also visited regularly to check everything was progressing to plan and help guide any decisions we needed to make which was appreciated. The various tradespeople they lined up to complete the works towards the end were also excellent and overall we are delighted with the new space and end result.We would not hesitate to recommend The Loft Room (and have already done so!); you'll be in very safe hands.

Overall very positive experience of having our loft done by the Loft Room. Really attentive and responsive organisation that hold themselves to high professional standards, quality workmanship and real focus on customer service.The team we had on site and Dragos our team lead were great: conscientious and hardworking. Dragos and the back office team made sure we were continually updated on progress and next steps. Dragos did a great job of ensuring we had opportunities to make tweaks and alterations to the original plans, sharing his wealth of experience (with pictures!) from other loft conversion jobs. As we reach the end of the work I realise it's finished pretty much exactly when we were told it would. I would definitely recommend

We recently had our loft extension done by the Loft Room. They were extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire process and our project manager Jamie was an absolute legend with every single aspect! We’ve gotten so many compliments not just on the finished result, but from our neighbours on how professional the guys on site were and how quickly it went up.If you’re on the fence about using the Loft Room for your loft extension, I have no hesitation in saying you should go for it!

One of the reasons we chose our property was the view over nothing but trees from the rear aspect of the house, a rarity in London. The master bedroom, however, was on the front of the house. With four growing children, we knew that days of sharing were limited and eventually we would either have to move, or ‘go up’.We undertook a major downstairs renovation first and were very happy with our builders. When it came to do the loft, we were excited to work with them again, but a friend having their loft done convinced us to have The Loft Room come out and do a quote for us. The quote was comprehensive and competitive - as well as being full service (managing surveys, engineers, architects, planning, building control, subcontractors and decorators). Having project managed these myself on our previous build and it being a literal full time job, I immediately knew that having a project manager included was an invaluable addition. The fact that The Loft Room are loft specialist who will have encountered the inevitable surprises building projects bring, along with glowing personal reviews, sealed the deal.Our build started in mid February and progressed at an astonishing pace. Within a few weeks we were standing in our framed space, with our incredible project manager Dragos, meticulously mapping out where our walls, doors and windows were going to go. He went so far as to cut a timber ‘Michael’ (my husband) who we could walk around the eaves side of the build to decide on window placements, sink placements and door angles. Dragos measured and shuffled and remeasured everything until it was perfect and we were happy. Before the walls even went up we knew exactly where every wall-light, switch and door frame would be - with Dragos coming up with creative solutions and extracting every inch of potential out of the space - be it for maximising natural light or storage or aesthetics. Everything was considered and nothing was too much trouble.The things that mattered most to us, fast became the priority of the team (the view, my bath and the desire for light) who worked tirelessly through the coldest winter in our lifetime to bring our exacting vision to life.The resulting space is a light-flooded, breezy and luxurious master suite which works ergonomically and comfortably. We have added masses of storage, an office and a dressing area on top of the bedroom and bathroom we were expecting. We got everything we were hoping for and more.Everyone we worked with along the way had one mission - to give us the best space possible with the loft space and budget available. Maggie in the office, who I must have called a 100 times before the build even kicked off, always sounded cheerful to hear from me and managed our many questions until the project kicked off, after which Jenny and Melissa took over. Between them, the practical adjustments and questions were always promptly sorted.Our real heroes, though, were our building team headed up by Alex and our PM Dragos. They were wonderful to have on site and we looked forward to seeing them each day. They were patient with us, experienced in their craft and exacting in their workmanship. I can’t imagine ever building with anyone else.Unlike many other builders, The Loft Room don’t consider the build ‘done’ until every lick of paint is on, every bump smoothed, and every tap centred. We realised after decorating that there had been a miscommunication and mistake about a measurement which we had all missed. Within days the respective teams had been in, apologised, rectified the issue and redecorated. The reality is that sometimes things do go wrong, and I can confidently say that these guys will do everything needed to make it right with as little inconvenience as possible. The build finished on time and on budget - no nasty surprises or sneaky add ons along the way.We would not build a loft with anyone else, and neither should you.

We chose the loft room to convert our loft space into an extra room and bathroom. We had other quotes that were cheaper and would have started the work earlier, but we liked the vision that they had for our space.When the work started, our team leader, Vio, was on-site daily, working hard, doing the building work, and managing other trades to finish the job. Vio worked so quickly and efficiently that he reduced the build time by a few weeks. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and when there were issues, the way the loft room team dealt with them showed real character.Overall, we recommend the loft room to anyone who wants their loft space converted.

From the initial conversation with Maggie until receiving the completion certificate from Jenny, the professionalism of the Loft Room staff was outstanding.This was our first major project and we had lots of questions. Communications was excellent as Jenny, Maggie, Melissa and Helen answered our endless list of questions promptly.Iulian our sub-contractor did an incredible job, guiding us through the process and working with exceptional expertise.Dave, the decorator did an amazing job too.We are very satisfied with the end result and couldn't be happier with the extra space that we now have.We would highly recommend the Loft Room: Great team and job well done!

We bought a new built house a few years back and always wanted to explore what converting our loft would make possible.We got a few quotes from several companies, and Paul from Loftroom stood out to us for the possibilities he talked about when we first met. We were also very impressed with all the reviews we had read online and the quality of projects they had completed in the past.We trusted them, and they really didn’t disappoint! We started working with the architect who guided us through the legal processes, and created our vision on plans. Things got even more exciting when Luke, our project manager, and Charlie started the build. They always provided sound advice, clear communication and always had a proactive attitude - nothing was ever in the way of creating the dream loft we wanted. Luke was always available at any time of the day to reply to my WhatsApp messages or turn up to our house when we needed his help. Not only is he excellent as a builder and project manager, with a close attention to details, he is also a great person - committed, funny and trustworthy. We miss having him and Charlie around now that the scaffolding is down, and are looking forward to having them back to celebrate together with a glass of champagne at the end of the project!We’ve been very impressed by the quality of all the people the Loftroom works with. Everyone was accommodating and did a great job. We’re loving working with our decorator Joe, at the moment. He is really starting to transform our loft into a little nest.We cannot recommend the Loftroom enough. We’ve already told neighbours and friends about them and will continue to sing their praises. After all, they did create our perfect sanctuary with the bathroom of our dreams! Thank you guys!
