Twice Balfe Bikes has been extremely quick to help me to make sure I can keen cycling - a broken spoke fixed v quickly (and a quick tune up on my brakes without even asking) and fixing a rubbing mudguard (which sounds simple, but it really wasn’t). Thank you Balfe - am lucky you’re my local bike shop.

Amazing service and very welcoming! I recently had a service on my road bike from another shop where things were not done properly. I stepped in Balfe’s Bike on a Sunday and they fixed it all for me and for free. I will certainly get my new bike there

Customer service is great at this shop. Alex was really helpful with helping with a bolt on the bike seat for my child. Good quality products here and have always had friendly people working there who are happy to help. So pleased this bike shop is local to me.

Went today to have my Brompton checked as it had a small problem. The staff was super polite, nice and welcoming. Excellent service, zero commercial pressure, and kind team who havent ripped me off for a small thing. One wants to do business just for them being so patient and nice. So i bought a helmet ⛑️Thank you for your help today. Definitely i will return

Kudos to Mitchell from Balfe’s Fulham for going above and beyond assisting a friend that came from Brazil with her eyes set on an SL8 tarmac frame. Mitchell out of his own initiative shared balfe’s options, shared his thoughts re best options and assisted us in having everything ready (and I mean everything!) for a swift and smooth transportation of the frame duly packed and with the appropriate documentation for the bike to make it back safe to south america. Thank you so much for your help

Love my new Brompton bike that was shown and explained in details and how to fold it by David and his team, had a few ride tests and feel of the bike before I settled for the right one. Good service and bikes, would recommend to anyone.

Super service. Came in at 4pm having had a brake issue as I was packing up my bike to travel the next day. Despite being really busy they managed to squeeze the work in in less than an hour. On top of that my brakes are now better than when the brake was brand new! Will definitely return for any future issues!

I'm reluctant to leave a negative review but I have had a thoroughly annoying experience with this shop. I tried to call 5/6 times to ask if they could tune my brakes. As I had no luck getting through on the phone (fair enough), I took my bike in on Wednesday lunchtime. I was told that they were too busy to do it that week (also fine), but that I should bring it was in next week. I specifically asked when is the best and quietest time to do so. I was told around 8am (opening time) on Monday. Fast forward to 8:10am, Monday morning - the shop isn't open. I wait ten minutes. Still closed. I walk around the block for half an hour - at this point, I'm determined to get it sorted before work. The shop STILL isn't open at 8:45. At this point, I need to head home to start work at 9.Rubbish experience all round. I've been recommended this bike shop by others but I won't bother trying again after this.

Got my bike serviced by Davide, who is an absolute legend! Fixed an annoying brake problem in less than an hour that two other shops were too lazy to fix. Fantastic customer service I experienced today.
