DVSA Driving Test Centre

My examiner was Ellie she was lovely and made me feel at ease. She was very clear with instructions and gave me plenty of notice when giving me directions. I passed with one minor.

The instructor was very friendly, and I felt confident with her on the practical test. Excellent facilities in the test centre.

For about 2 years now I have been looking for a test centre to book my practical test and I managed to find it last minute booked at short notice I had to take a 3 and a half hour journey to Coventry I had to take the train which was not cheap however the test centre is placed in one of the worst possible places numerous lorry’s bin trucks in and out don’t stop all speeding off which can easily cause a fault for you the driver the examiner I had was clearly not bothered to examen me she cut my whole journey short because she clearly had something better to do which caused me to fail I made a complaint but nothing is being done I have over 2 years of driving lessons and experience the examiner would constantly grab my wheel when I was turning in perfect time just so she could fail me as I clearly was a bother for her to come out and examine me for 30 mins also the pedestrians and other drivers of Coventry are a massive hazard they clearly have no care for learner drivers and they can cause you to fail I fully recommend not coming here to this test centre this is an honest review and I wish to protect leaner drivers from these awful people and test centres shame on you Coventry driving test centre

The worst place for a driving test. Today I should have taken my license but the lady from this driving test wasnt sure my driving license its real so she didnt go ahead with my driving test she give me an number for customer services and gose in the office I couldn't believe what she just told me so I go to a police station to check my driving license they said that it's 100% real and I should go back and ask to rebook me a new test after 5-6 months .. Its unbelievable how the system here works. I suggest you not get an driving test here.

Very good experience today with my driving test. My examiner Gary, lovely and nice man. He was giving clear instructions in plenty of time asking me if I'm ok from time to time as I was very nervous, what was probably visible :) My test route was pleasant and I've passed with only 3 minors. In the end of the test I've been given constructive feedback about what have I done wrong and what area I should improve when driving on my own. There's plenty of parking spaces in driving centre, good waiting room. Overall good experience for a very nervous and anxious person like me :) Thank you Gary and thank you Coventry Driving Centre

Tim who was my driving test examiner was extremely helpful throughout the test. He was very friendly and helped me feel at ease. I am glad that I passed the test at my first trial. Tim also explained me the minor mistakes that I made so that I won't repeat them while driving. Despite the general rumour that the driving routes in Coventry are togher than the ones in Warwick, I encourage candidates staying in Coventry to take their tests here.

Had the same worst examiner … the overweight one btw… he started shouting and me even more nervous
