We took a long time to decide which water softener to install in our new home and are really delighted with Kinetico and the excellent service provided by Total Soft Water. Highly recommended!

I have always wanted soft water installed for a while and had spoken to alot of vendors. Paul by far was the most presentable and professional of all the people I called. He wasn't the cheapest but the confidence I got from his answers when I was asking him difficult questions reasssured me that I would be looked after during installation and in the after sales period.Sure enough a few days had passed after installation and I noticed very tiny droplets of water was forming around one of the pipes and when I told Paul, he swiftly sent someone to fix this. Paul even paid a visit a week later to make sure everything was ok.The machine has been running for a few months and I can't imagine life without it now. I highly recommend Paul and his team if you are considering soft water installation.

I have been a loyal customer of this business for the past 4 years but since it is now under new management (taken over by 'Harvey Water Softeners') this place has hit rock bottom. I had a replacement filter installed into my Kinetico K2 RO unit last Friday. It wasn't fitted properly because after a few hours, it suddenly popped out due to the build up of pressure and my kitchen floor was flooded. I had to call a plumber to stop the constant flow of water and pay emergency rates. What was worse was the treatment I faced by Total Soft Water when I sought help.Whereas most businesses are desperately trying to get customers and keep existing ones, this place holds customers in contempt and has no qualms in disrespecting them. The next day after my kitchen floor was flooded, I called their office for help. No apology, no sympathy and no respect was given. I did not even raise my voice at all. I was calm throughout. Instead I was given a lecture about the fallacy of buying bottled filtered water which I had to resort to in the meantime because our filtered tap water no longer worked and we could not drink straight from the tap because we have poor sensitivity to tap water which is common in a lot of people. What he said to me you will find astonishing.Rather than trying to solve my problem and provide assistance, I was lectured on how bottled water was no different to tap water and most on the market is basically bottled tap water anyway!! Such a conspiracy theorist is basically telling customers to not purchase a water softener and filter unit because the bottled water we get in the shops is no different from tap water. I am sure companies like Evian and Perrier would be pleased to hear this. In other words, he is basically telling customers that they are not wanted.Did he help me with my problem about the faulty work done which lead to my kitchen floor being flooded? At first, he wanted me to wait for almost a week until he would send someone over i.e. Thursday but after much plea he 'found' a slot on Monday (today).As I said earlier, businesses are struggling so much these days but this one must have so much capital in their hands that customers can be disrespected and turned away. Your business is not needed here" in other words. I would lose my job if I told customers that they didn't need the products my employer was selling.This place gets a one star (instead of zero even though you can't post reviews with zero stars) because an engineer did come today and fitted the filter 'properly'. Fingers crossed there won't be any more problems but I paid a price for their shoddy work and poor service. The way I was treated was patronising

After 9 years my Monarch water softener was showing signs of working less than efficiently. But when, over one weekend, water suddenly stopped flowing through it, I knew a replacement was urgently needed.I rang Total Soft Water first thing on the Monday morning, got a quote for a Harvey Minimax water softener, and by lunchtime on the Wednesday it was up and running! We're now enjoying beautiful soft water once again.I hadn't heard of Harvey water softeners before, but I'm impressed with mine. In particular it has much improved water flow compared with my old softener, so my bath fills more quickly and my shower is more powerful. It uses shaped blocks of salt, which are very easy to install, and an app on my phone tells me how much salt is left, so I know when to top up.When I placed my order I was surprised to be asked if I had any salt to trade in. As I had 5 months supply of salt tablets that weren't compatible with the new softener I was delighted to be offered a like-for-like swap to the Harvey salt blocks.To sum up - great service, great products! Highly recommended!

I am extremely impressed with Total Soft Water and have never worked with such a diligent company. They undertook a project for me that required several adjustments and fine tuning over a period of months. They undertook this and achieved an excellent result. I was very impressed from the initial phone call, site survey, time spent on the project to get it right and the final outcome. I doubt if anyone could have done a better job. Paul Riley was beyond outstanding in his approach as he is very kind and attentive to detail. A true gentleman and I don't think there will ever be anyone like him again. I had been renting a water softener for a number of years as I could not afford one when i first moved to Letchworth.I discovered this lovely company as I have been buying my salt blocks from them for almost 12 years..I discussed buying one and found Paul and his,staff very friendly and professional.The quality of the work was as excellent as the product.I highly recommend this company and I know for sure if I need any after care service, they will be resolved.

Had Total Soft Water install water softeners at a couple of places. Quality of the work is always first class and Paul really knows his field. Product quality is great and after sales care is excellent. The water softener makes such a difference in this region and an installation by Total Soft Water is an easy recommendation to make.

I was having a water softener in my other property in Italy, but because the area where I was living doesn't contain too much calcium, I never been able to appreciate the effectiveness and the usefulness of the filter.Also, the one I was having was electricity-driven and was doing so much noise that honestly I wasn't sure whether or not install a new one in UK was a good solution.There is always a solution, and in this case it's called Paul. First thing first: He favorably accepted to meet me at my house at 8pm.He made a very interesting demonstration, explaining everything we asked, and he has accomodate our needs in total.It's now a month we have our unit running. It's fabulous; the water now he so clean that when we wash our dishes or glasses they are not left with all that spot.My wife's hair are not anymore crispy, our dishwasher now consumes less salt, and we stopped to buy bottled water.What else can I add on top of this?
