Got me out of a right pickle with a damaged tyre - lost locking nuts, etc. Many thanks for great service and reasonable price.

Phoned up for an MOT and I was able to book in for the same day. Failed on rod track ends and was given a reasonable price for repair. Really handy that the garage has a shop attached as I was able to pick my car up at 7pm after I finished work. I called regularly for updates and everyone I spoke to was helpful. Unfortunate experience filing up with diesel in the late evening this week. The pump didn't stop automatically and I pumped an unknown amount of diesel into the ground. My car has a little drain that makes it easy to misd if you are not paying attention. I'm so used to modern pumps that I didn't notice it right away. Resigned to paying for fuel I couldn't use and wanting to inform the attendant of the spill, I let the guy on staff know that the pump wasn't working correctly. He first blamed me for not noticing the amount of fuel I had pumped, then got into an argument about how there was no issue with the pump. He then walked away and refused to speak with me further. Highly unprofessional and disappointing. I would avoid this place based on this experience, if it wasn't the only local fuel in the area.

Called in to ask if they’d have time to take a look at my car before I drive home after work, as it was making an awful sound & the attitude I received from the woman was appalling. Very patronising. Won’t catch me giving them money or recommending them. Will happily go somewhere else.

My wife & I had traveled down to Buckfast from Cheshire over the Coronation Bank Holiday weekend.However my car's alternator had failed during the Journey. Having been recovered to Buckfast, I contacted your garage first thing on the Tuesday morning. Was so pleased that you took the car in that morning. You ordered a new alternator that afternoon. Fitted it Wednesday morning for our trouble free journey home that afternoon.Your garage and staff are a credit to the industry.Many thanks to you all !! From Roy The Boy""

swung by as my wheel bearing was sounding noisy ( had just got a boat and trailer not my bad maintenance ) asked if they could put some grease in for me they said yes then a youngish lad attempted to put two pumps in whish looked like it didn't work .could tell he wasn't that bothered charged me £3 which i think is a lot but time is money etc but when i got home removed wheel hub no grease in it at all ! wouldn't have minded paying £20 if he had done it right .feel very ripped off they were just standing around when i asked them not like i dragged them of some intense job

On holiday in Devon, recently serviced car leaking oil. Visited on off chance of being able to look at problem. Car up on ramp immediately and hopefully problem sorted - slightly loose sump bolt! Offered payment for their time but refused - now that’s what I would call service! So anyone in the South Devon area that wants, from what I would describe as a “proper mechanic” to sort out your car, look no further. I obviously no very little about this garage, but from what I could see and experienced, they represent true good old fashioned mechanical know how - so would I recommend - Yes - many thanks
