Lime Farm Marina

A fantastic place to have any canal boat repaired. Streets ahead of any other marina I've visited for repairs. John has a work ethic to be admired and genuinely knows his trade.

My boat had ran out of diesel in the middle of nowhere, so I arrived here with a fuel can. The owner said he wouldn't fill the can as he would make less than a pound profit. I explained I was stuck and in need of help but this person said it wasn't worth his time to help me. This is the worst person I have ever met on the canals. Please don't give him your business.

Johns is the best man for the job for miles around really knows what is what when it comes to boats welding and engineering ,I had a wonderful time at lime farm marina he did welding job for me spot on job ,fare rates charged, and I will be going back definitely and looking forward to seeing him and his wife Sarah lovely people who have my trust and vote of confidence ,top chap top job veary happy time by Dennis Jones and Wendy.

Really good experience as live aboard having blacking done. Good sturdy steps up to boat for me and the dog. Good price, helpful and friendly owners.

Had our blacking done here with a little welding on the hull and rudder. We highly recommend this business. Everything they said they would do, they did it on time and perfectly! The work was thorough and very reasonable. John who runs it was able to advise on things that we didn't even know needed doing without any benefit to himself as he said the work was non urgent but sonething to think about. The whole experience was professional and expertly managed. We will be returning in two years for a grit blast. Wouldn't go anywhere else now. Well done to all at Lime Farm who looked after our boat and our home!

After hitting a large object underwater and seriously damaging my boat propeller. We limped to this marina with no advanced warning and were met with 2 of the friendliest guys. They stopped what they were doing and lifted my boat out of the water, diagnosed what was wrong then went out and picked up all the parts needed to get us on our way again within 4 hours!! All at an extremely acceptable price. They even insisted that they took the boat out with us for a test run before letting us sail off into the sunset....Very very highly recommended.Thank you John and Steve.

Our boat went in for hull blacking, great job, fair price, including a couple of extra small jobs, but necessary jobs that were not charged for. Highly recommended!

We moor there...John is friendly, a small hard working man, straight talking & dose'nt wanna be messex about...lift out...blacking...overplating...2 pack...general repairs, me, I'm happy with him.
