Bain Valley Fisheries

Good fishing place. 5 ponds. Big fishes.

Paid to lakeside camp here and were rudely asked to move by the owner and told we can't stay by the lake, waste of time, no one to show us where we can and can't stay when we arrived either.

I am a 16 year old at the time of writing this. The fishery is beautiful and seems like an amazing place yet whilst setting up the bailiff informed me that under 18s aren't to fish alone. I have no problem with this and understand that it is for the safety of the fish and upkeep of the environment but he came off as extremely hostile and when I challenged that there was no way for me to know, he buntly stated that its on the website (its not I checked every page) it is also not in the hut where you pay, please improve this for youth in the future. I would like to comeback again as I am an aspiring specimen angler but it seems like I will have to wait till I am 18 as I don't want to burden my family with a day of fishing, I am also put off coming back by how you are treated by the staff. Extremely unwelcoming to new people. PS was not offered my money back upon first encounter

A great fishery with a good selection of fishing pools, fish and caters for a number of fishing styles. Had a good day there and would go again in a heartbeat. 11lbs carp, 9 lbs carp caught.

There are 50 acres of brilliant fishing with 7 lakes. I believe there is a cindicate lake possibley 2.All lakes are well stoked. I've not been and not cought less than 6 in one day's fishing. All over 61b +.Other fishing peoples who are around that I've met seem friendly enough.I think the staff will drive around now and again to see if all is OK.I think it's £8.00 for one rod and £10.00 for the two.On arrival, there is a hut where you go in and pay.There is information on costs.A picture of the lakes so you can decide where you want to fish as long as it's not a cindicate lake, you'll be OK.I do believe that there is a takeaway that delivers your breakfast to you. There is a number on the wall.I've never done it, so I can't comment. Does sound good, though.There is a rule of no under 18 allowed to fish unless accompanied by an Adult.I also believe that there is a small campsite for caravans and mybe tents.Night fishing is allowed, but you have to give at least 24-hour notice, and then it's up to them if you can if you can fish or not.I've heard it cost £25.00 but you wood need to check with them. Just don't turn up unannounced for a night fish. They may send you packing. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't like to risk it.I have not found any faults yet and believe I won't.

Need more toilets. But good fishing and price

Reallly enjoyed my 54 hr fishing on the Beaufighter lake.I only got 1 bite and broke.But never the less I will be back.It’s so picturesque.And enjoyable.
