Swanspool Veterinary Clinic

My dog died due to the negligence of this vets. Not only did Swanspool misdiagnose what was wrong with my dog, they then overdosed him by prescribing a medicine at 30 times the correct dosage. My dog consequently started having seizures and had to be put to sleep. It was one of the worse days of my life. At this point you would think the practice would be very apologetic. Not at all. They had no choice but to admit they were wrong as it was all there in black and white, but all they were interested in is whether I owed them any money. Just shocking. And at one point the practice partner, Anna, spoke to me in a very cold condescending manner whilst I stood there absolutely sobbing. There was no sympathy or empathy at all. Just a very defensive attitude.It was all reported to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, but it doesn’t bring my very much loved dog back. Reggie was a rescue, who had a terrible life before we rescued him. He did not deserve to have his life cut short by the people who were supposed to care for him.

Always brilliant service. My daft dog has hurt himself a couple if times on Sundays. Prompt excellent treatment and such nice people. Very reasonably priced too.

Lovely Veterinary Clinic and the staff are amazing. Hugo felt right at home. We couldn’t ask for a better service.

I once had a dog Molly when i lived in wellingborough, i was told she had an enlarged heart by one of the senior vets this was not the case as confirmed by one Spanish vet who showed us the xray, after the other vets went along with their colleague everytime we paid a visit.Molly ended up with a bad cough after taking heart tablets that she didn't need....I was so pleased when the Spanish vet came clean and was honest with us....I would not recommend these vets!

Went to Swanspool on Wednesday with our lurcher she was very chesty unable to bark and coughing. The vet checked her out and she was given medication.Was more than impressed that the vet actually rang us twice to check that she was doing OK

Absolutely the best vets around. The receptionists are always very helpful and the vetinary staff show nothing but care for the animals you bring in. From start to finish they keep your animals calm and answer any questions you have, nothing is too much trouble. Best service I've ever had from a vetinary practice.

Have been taking my dogs here for over 20 years. The vets are great.

Most amazing vets I ever had the pleasure off using all the staff here are absolutely amazing and when my vets had believed they had found a heart murmur my sister recommended me to take Cali here for a heart scan best thing I ever did after this my fur baby got a lump and instantly I was more comfortable bringing my dog to his heart doctor zoe walker then I was bringing his to his own vet (pets at home ) Cali was anxious and unsettled at pets at home we had used them his whole life how ever when I dropped Cali to zoe for his heart scan and lump removal surgery cali was very comfortable being left obviously this made me more comfortable.Sadly cali passed away this month even though he was so poorly and my vets was 5 mins away I drove to swans pool and he passed away with the best veterinary team I could ever ask for thank you all at swans pool for everything you done for Cali and you made us feel comfortable and you wasn’t out for the money you actually cared for our animals and this is huge highly recommend rip Cali ❤️

Great vets been using them for years wouldn't go anywhere else.just looked after our poor Lottie.
