Fusion Table Tennis Club

Played there for a few years, great coaching staff and atmosphere.

Coaching is provided and the coaches are well versed with how to train beginners.My schedule is tight, but had I lived closer I would have gone every session with out miss.

I went twice, and the second time I turned up, the guy taking my money seemed surprised I should come back. I guess that says it all. The standard of the players there is pretty good, but don't expect to play anybody better than yourself, because they don't want to waste their time making you feel welcome, or bringing up your level. In the two sessions I played, I played a guy in his 20's and beat him fairly easily, then a young chinese woman, who was an absolute beginner, then a couple of older guys like myself, with nice skills, but severely lacking in mobility and fitness. The only person I played who was better than me, was for 10 mins, and he finished our knock, telling me that if I want to get better, then I should book up for coaching. That summarises what the club is about, they see newcomers as potential cash cows. This is so far from the club I was involved in, in my teens, and for my Uni team, where everyone would play everyone, and provide good practice and encouragement. If this is the biggest and best club in S. London, then table tennis in the UK is in a terribly sad state.

This club has many friendly skilled people. I stopped by on a Sunday and with about 25 people in attendance, I had no trouble finding enjoyable matches. If you are not accustomed to competitive club level play, I would recommend bringing a partner of a similar skill level to play with.

My old TT club shut, so I asked where my old team mates were playing. I've been getting coached by the various coaches at Fusion since 2011. This permanent facility for Fusion is excellent, with in excess of 13 tables, and adult coaching for me on a Tuesday night. Very friendly people, always offering lots worthwhile advice. Be warned though there are lots high quality premier league players here. So bring a friend....

A club that takes itself very seriously. Arrogant and haughty staff. Making rude comments. I heard some staff bad mouthing current players members. Definitely not welcoming. The venue is also messy and dirty. Shame that London has so little venues for Table tennis making players desperate and accepting to play and be treated like this.

Excellent for table tennis. Great for players of all levels. The experts are always willing to help to improve your game. I couldn't speak more highly of the staff. I absolutely love going to Fusion Table Tennis Club

Great TT club and great ethics which gives young people a place to practice, train and to excel their abilities.That said there is no age limit and you can attend at any age.Friendly and welcoming atmosphere which makes it the best club to hang out have fun and develop your table tennis skills and techniques.

Love this club and the people who run it. Special credit goes to John Dennison, one of the founders and coach at the club. Fantastic trainer and a wonderful person! Can't stress enough how affordable their fees are for a place like London (Greater including)!!!!!!!!!
