Parker Fry Recovery and Auto Centre

I was so anxious yesterday after breaking down halfway between North Yorkshire and Gravesend, as I was travelling with my 16 year old daughter to spend a week with my mum. I contacted my breakdown service and within 5 minutes Jimmy from Parker Fry called me. His calm voice and manner instantly put me at ease even on the phone. When he arrived I felt in safe hands. He pinpointed the problem within 5 minutes as it was the alternator that had failed. So I couldn’t continue my journey. He patiently waited while I contacted family and tried to see whether it would be possible to recover to Gravesend or whether I’d have to be taken home again. Luckily my car can be sorted down here this week while I’m away so Nick came. They transferred my car to the recovery van and Nick continued with our rescue . It was a pleasure, he was as nice and kind as Jimmy had been and we chatted all the way down. After having been so anxious I felt so safe and looked after. Diamonds both of them.

Was locked out with battery disconnected in the boot, total no power, Rob arrived within minutes after trying various options had to remove seats and connected battery, bingo! Power on, car started. Rob checked everything was running properly, all within an hour.Superb friendly , courteous, helpful service from Rob, a great asset for PFR.

We had a car accident in Huntingdon which meant we couldn't drive it. Our technician Andy picked us up very quickly and took us and the car safely home. Andy was very professional and did an excellent job. Couldn't have asked for more.

A positive thumbs up to Rob at Parker Fry who came out last Friday to rescue our broken campervan, on the A1139 near Peterborough. Great service, polite and very empathetic to my 1984 vehicle! And even the police who came to make the road area secure from the busy traffic made positive noises when informed Parker Fry were to be the call out group. So well done! Keep up the good work! Ann

Parker Fry excellent service was the highlight of a really rubbish afternoon. Rob was literally my knight in a shiny tow truck when he dealt with my flat tyre after hitting a pothole. He managed to tow me to the nearest garage before it shut. Thank you, Rob!

Had my car recovered today by Rob and the service was amazing. Really friendly and went above and beyond what I was expecting. My ignition barrel was seized and Rob spent a good 45minutes trying to fix it before taking me to a local garage. Highly recommend and will be using again in the future.

Parker Fry we’re sent to recover my car through Green Flag, there response was excellent, I was near Huntingdon Cambs with an engine seized, they came in very quick time - Timmy was courteous and friendly he put our minds at rest. Loaded car on trailer transported us to services where we were transferred to Nicks trailer to drive us back to Haverhill, we enjoyed chatting to Nick who again was so helpful and careful with our pride and joy. Thank you very much for a first class service.

Absolutely first class service. Away from home with the caravan and during a trip to the shops the car broke down. They were there to assist within 30 minutes and although unable to get me started arranged for a recovery vehicle to collect us within the next hour and return us to our Campsite. They then returned to the Campsite at the end of our holiday and brought us home. The caravan was taken to our storage first and then the car to a garage. Every person from the company went above and beyond to take away what was a very worrying time and a special thanks to Matt who had to put up with us during the 3 hours drive home. I would recommend them to anyone.
