Lovely home made food, there was a slight issue with my food which wasnt there fault they quickly resolved it and let me have a free pudding. Baby and child friendly. Animals were really friendly and I enjoyed feeding them which u buy the food for £1/2, will be going again

A fairly priced coffee shop with good staff and a nice atmosphere. The menu is wide and varied, and the portions are very good, with great quality food. No hint of pretentiousness unlike several other cafe type places in Erewash. A real treat to be able to stroll around and see/feed the animals on the farm afterwards. Lovely place.

An all round perfect little eatery. We love it here. Great choice, value and staff. No issues on any occasion we have been and taken our Grandson to the neighbouring family run farm, fed the lvestock and then had refreshments here. James and his team are fab!!

We visited here after taking a look around Lanes Open Farm. For drinks we decided to go for a hot chocolate & a Mocha, which were served with digestive biscuits, which is a first for me, as most places tend to supply the lotus biscuits. For food we went for a sage & onion sausage roll, warmed up of course, in which our daughter loved! We also had a banoffee waffle, & a Poppys Unicorn Sundae. Both desserts we were perfect, & better than expected.

Took a chance on having lunch here while our daughter & her boyfriend had a bird if prey experience next door. Wow, were we glad we did!!Excellent home made food (especially the cakes) & the staff were lovely & attentive. Took some of the cakes home for the family. They went down very well. We will definitely return.

Unfortunately this cafe thinks it’s above government legislation set out in 2010 The equality act. Which places a requirement on public services to make their establishments accessible to all people to use including learning disabilities and autism. After sitting in the quieter area due to having a child with autism who likes quiet and doesn’t speak and gets easily overwhelmed by noise we were told we either had to sit in a dedicated child area with lots of noisy children and babies or leave. This does not comply with legislation to incorporate and include people with disabilities access to public service such as a sit down meal. Due to this I have reported this establishment to the correct authority and put a warning on anyone else with children of disabilities to be aware in their words “they don’t bend the rules regardless of what you have”I’m sure your food is delightful and the staff were really kind and apologetic almost embarrassed for the behaviour of the owner here as my son was so quiet they didn’t even notice him until we tried to order him food and were told we can’t sit in the quiet area.
